Emily, Toni and Bridge e a ended and represented Dreams. Bridge e, at that !me, was working the TE at Detroit Taco and was so proud to represent such a great company. (Since this event, Bridge e has been hired at Detroit Taco Company in a Supported Employment posi!on and yet another member is in the TE posi!on.) “Toni, Emily and I had the !me of our lives! I spoke about my experience at Detroit Taco Company and I am very grateful that I get to work for Je and Dreams.â€? Bridge e loves her job and is never shy about saying it. “I love working for Je because he is a nice person to work with. I do dishes and wipe tables. The rest of the sta at Detroit Taco is fun and very funny!â€? The awards were presented by State Representa!ves and State Senators to the employers. Our new State Representa!ve for Royal Oak, Jim Ellison, was set to present to Je Omtvedt, owner of Detroit Taco Company; however, he was held up in commi ee mee!ngs. Luckily his chief of sta, Dan Opsommer, was able to save the day and come present the award on Mr. Ellison’s behalf. He let us know that Jim was very sorry to be missing it, and would make it up to us by coming to visit Dreams in person. It really was a great event for Michigan Clubhouses! Dreams would like to thank the Clubhouses that put in so much eort to make it happen and run so smoothly. We can’t wait for next year’s event!
