Eagle Ranch 2025 Impact Report

Page 1

EAGLE RANCH’S UNWAVERING CONSISTENCY AND COMMITMENT TO SERVING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES HAS ESTABLISHED A LEGACY IN THE NORTH GEORGIA AREA AND BEYOND, POSITIVELY IMPACTING THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.

PATHWAYS TO HEALING

THE EAGLE RANCH RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM

AFTER THE INITIAL FIRST STEP COUNSELING SESSION, FAMILIES CAN ENGAGE WITH OUR OTHER OFFERINGS TO SUPPORT THEIR JOURNEY TOWARD WHOLE FAMILY HEALING.

Eagle Ranch’s residential program provides children with a structured, therapeutic living and school environment. Children live in one of our on-campus homes and attend our SACS-accredited school. Each home is managed by a married couple who models a healthy family atmosphere. A licensed counselor develops a plan for each child and family based on the specific issues that prompted placement and continuously works with the entire family to restore relationships. Families participate in on-campus counseling sessions, support groups, training, and activities.

THE EAGLE RANCH DAY SCHOOL PROGRAM

The Eagle Ranch Day School Program provides students in grades 4 - 11 the opportunity to attend our private, SACS-accredited school without living on campus. Unique in its ability to offer an adaptive curriculum that provides modifications and accommodations for each student, Eagle Ranch School features small class sizes, one-on-one instructional help, and ongoing therapeutic support. While in this program, children and their families also participate in counseling, support groups, training, and activities.

OUTPATIENT COUNSELING

For children and families in need of ongoing clinical support, The Wings Center at Eagle Ranch has professional counselors who can be seen on an outpatient basis to address a broad spectrum of family needs. We provide counseling for children, couples, families, and individuals of all ages and stages of life.

ENRICHMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Eagle Ranch also offers a variety of events and opportunities to further support children, individuals, and families in our community, including equine-assisted therapy, parenting trainings, professional continuing education events, and more.

REFERRAL SERVICES

If Eagle Ranch’s services do not serve a family’s current needs, our First Step counselors can help determine next steps. We are connected with a wide variety of community organizations and resources to help families find support and potential solutions for whole family healing.

“As a board member dating back to the earliest days of Eagle Ranch, we have always focused on a vision driven by need – and always in that order. I have witnessed the evolution of the Ranch originally serving boys before expanding to girls, whole family counseling, and a SACS-accredited school on campus. Our march of faith continues today as we now grow our mental health services in outreach and collaboration with the entire Northeast Georgia region.”

FAMILY COUNSELING

SESSIONS were held for children and families through the Eagle Ranch Day School, Residential Program, and The Wings Center.

“I’m not the only person who has come to the Ranch thinking that I am not the problem, my family is. But when you look within yourself, you see everyone has issues; it’s not just you, it’s not just your family; it’s both, and both need to work to fix the problems. People all around the Ranch teach us lessons every day, and it’s been really useful.”

“The biggest struggle I had was the arguments with my grandfather. The Ranch has taught me how to communicate better, and we both have become way better at communicating. We get along now, and we go out and do things together, which was almost impossible before I came here because we’d always argue.”

68% OF EAGLE RANCH SCHOOL STUDENTS

showed Lexile growth, with an average increase in Lexile score of 78 points.

*School year reported is 2023-2024

42 was the average decrease in points of clinical “distress” levels in our graduates. In clinical settings, a decrease of 26 points or more is considered a “success.”

OWNING THE MISSION:

OUR COMMUNITY IN ACTION

THE JOY IN SERVING

One of our favorite ways to join with our community in our mission is through Serve Saturdays. Individuals and groups come to Eagle Ranch several Saturdays throughout the year to work on various projects throughout the campus. Whether spreading mulch, clearing trails, painting and repairing, or assisting at the barn, there’s a place for everyone to connect and find joy in serving.

We believe that beauty is healing. Beautifying the campus impacts people’s healing journey in positive ways. So, when volunteers serve every Serve Saturday, each person owns an aspect of our mission to bring hope and renewal to the children and families who come to our campus looking for restoration.

Anyone can sign up for a Serve Saturday – whether youth or adult, there’s a project for everyone! Experience the joy of serving in a beautiful environment and a wonderful community of generous people. For more information visit: EAGLERANCH.ORG/GET-INVOLVED.

“Our middle school ministry loves serving at Eagle Ranch. We always experience the presence of the Lord as soon as we come on campus. We appreciate the opportunity to play a small part in the upkeep of their grounds. The staff is always organized and prepared for our arrival, and our students and leaders enjoy working together as we serve the Lord and a wonderful ministry like Eagle Ranch!”
