Kids Clinic Tiny Tots is for ages 3-5 from 4:00-4:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. $8 each child per clinic. Orange Ball Developmental Clinic is for juniors ages 6-10 from 4:30 -5:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. This is a great way to introduce your children to tennis. It is a fun, educational clinic that teaches them the game, eye hand coordination and of course how to have fun playing. $15 per child per clinic. Green Dot Intermediate Clinic is for juniors ages 10-12 from 5:306:30pm on Mondays which focuses more on stroke production and rallying. $15 per child per clinic. Tournament Level Clinic is for juniors ages 12 and up from 5:306:30pm on Wednesdays which is for intermediate tournament level kids. $15 per child per clinic. Teen Tennis Clinic is for beginner juniors ages 12-18 from 5:30-6:30pm on Wednesdays. It is a fun, educational clinic that teaches them the game, eye hand coordination and of course how to have fun playing. $15 per child per clinic. **A minimum of 3 registrants are required per session or the session will be canceled. ** You can register by phone at 269-2500 day of the clinic
Eagle Harbor Pickleball Another great addition to our amazing community. The courts are open to EH residents only (NO GUESTS FOR THE FIRST COUPLE WEEKS). No reservations. Just show up with your group or by yourself, place your paddles in the holder and wait for a court to open. Once you complete your match, place your paddle back in line and wait for a court to open. Winners DO NOT stay on the court. • Hours are 8am until 9:30 pm • Please be considerate of each other and allow everyone a chance to play. • Paddles are available to demo or buy in the Tennis Pro Shop. To check out a demo paddle you must turn in a driver’s license and return paddle after play and before
shop closes. Balls are available to purchase. • Absolutely no black soled shoes allowed!! • Private and Group lessons will be available in a couple weeks. • We will adjust operating procedures based on usage • HAVE FUN!

Eagle Harbor What Can You Do?
Each of us plays a role in the continued beautification of our community. There are many simple and inexpensive ways in which residents can make a big impact. Following are just a few: • Don’t put trash cans/bags or lawn debris out until the night before pickup. • Always blow off driveways, walkways, etc. after performing lawn care. • Trim hedges regularly, keep landscape beds weed-free, and re-mulch when necessary. • Store temporary items such as, lawn chairs, garden tools, bikes, and play items out of view when not in use. As Eagle Harbor continues to mature, regular exterior maintenance may need attention, such as: • Pressure washing – house, a/c screen wall, roof, and/or driveway
Crime Watch It is August and the summer and COVID is quickly passing by and Labor Day will soon be upon us. If you are planning a trip whether it is a day trip or longer remember drivers and passengers in cars must buckle up in order to avoid unnecessary injuries and death. There is often no second chance if you fail to buckle up. Although wearing a seat belt is the law, data shows that the consequence of not wearing a seat belt is deadly. Every time you get in your vehicle-Remember: • Drive sober. One drink is one too many. Because impaired driving is so dangerous, the penalties for doing so are extremely harsh in Florida, the state is serious about curbing these offenses. The more DUIs you receive, the greater the penalties become greater. Driving Under the Influence (DUI) is defined as operating a motor vehicle while impaired with a Blood Alcohol Level (BAC) of .08 or higher, a chemical substance, or a controlled substance (316.193, FS). A DUI remains on your record for 75 years. • Make sure your rear-seat passengers are also buckled. They are more likely to injure themselves and other passengers in a crash, if not buckled up. • Obey all speed limits. Traffic congestion and construction zones may require driving more slowly; be patient • Every time you turn or change lanes use your turn signals to let drivers to your rear know your intention. Florida requires that you signal a turn no less than 100 feet from the turn. Right here in Eagle Harbor, the intersection of Eagle Harbor Parkway and Town Center Blvd is a dangerous intersection and we can all make it safer by using our turn signals as we navigate that intersection • Seat belts plus air bags provide the greatest protection for adults. However, air bags are not a substitute for seat belts. • Don’t drive distracted: Anything that takes your full attention off the road, even for a second, could be deadly.
