August is a perfect time to focus on consistency. Whether you're working to lower your handicap, improve your short game, or simply enjoy a relaxing round with family and friends, remember that small improvements can make a big difference. Spend a little extra time on the practice green, focus on solid course management, and challenge yourself to make smart decisions throughout each round.

Congratulations to Mr. Patrick Nolan on capturing the 2026 Men's Match Play Championship title! Patrick earned the victory in the championship match against Mr. John Ruoss, winning 3 & 2 to secure the club's premier match play title. Thank you to all participants who
competed and helped make this year's championship a tremendous success.
Please note that the golf course and driving range will be closed August 24–25 for our annual aerification process. This important maintenance practice promotes healthier turf, improved root growth, better drainage, and enhanced playing conditions throughout the year.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as our maintenance team completes this essential work.
Let's all take pride in Eagle Harbor Golf Club and help protect the conditions that make our course enjoyable for everyone. Please minimize golf cart traffic on fairways and avoid driving through thin or stressed turf areas whenever possible. When sharing a cart, consider riding together with other players when practical to reduce overall traffic and turf compaction. Around tees and greens, please keep all golf cars completely on

the cart paths to help preserve these high-traffic areas.
By making a few small adjustments, we can all contribute to healthier turf, better playing conditions, and a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
Remember: The care we show today helps keep Eagle Harbor Golf Club in great shape for tomorrow.
Many golfers try to swing harder in the summer months when courses are firm and dry. Instead, focus on maintaining a smooth tempo from start to finish. A balanced swing often produces better contact, greater consistency, and surprisingly more distance.
Thank you for being part of the golf community and for helping make our club such a special place.
We look forward to seeing you on the course this month and wish you great rounds, low scores, and plenty of birdies throughout August!
Play well and have fun!
Driving Range Hours: Monday 7am-4pm, Tuesday (maintenance) 10am-7pm, Wednesday-Sunday 7am-7pm
