AQUATICS Resident Services
New residents please visit https://www.eagleharboronline.com/amenities to set up your amenity accounts so that you may gain access to our facilities. If you have an adult child on your account 18 years of age or older they must verify proof of residency. The address on the drivers license must reflect their current Eagle Harbor address to use Eagle Harbor amenities. You will not be able to access any of the pools until all members of your house over the age of 18 are registered with proof of ID. Please allow 3 days to process any online paperwork.
Swim Test Bands If you have already taken the swim test you can pick up your band at Waterfront Park after May 1st and at Swim Park after May 8th. Please note that children without bands will not be allowed to swim at any facility until they take the swim test. If your child lost their band please see the front desk so that we may verify your child in our database and administer a new band. Swim Lessons We will be offering 1 on 1 swim lessons, forms will be available online and at Waterfront Park. One of our swim instructors will contact you within 3 days to set up a time. Swim Team
Swim Park
Swim Team registration is online and open to all Eagle Harbor Residents. Registration will close May 8th, Please visit https://eagleharborswimteam.swimtopia.com/ for information regarding swim meets, practices and parent meetings.
Swim Park does not process any resident or amenity forms. All business transactions are handled online at www.eagleharboronline.com or at Waterfront Park. Please update all information prior to your visit so you do not experience a delay accessing the facilities the day of your visit.
Waterfront Park
SnackBar will accept member charge or debit/credit card only for snack bar purchases. No Cash purchases. You can register a credit or debit card for member charging privileges by going to Waterfront Park.
Swim Test
As of May 8th all Eagle Harbor children and guests, under 12 years of age, are required to take the swim test and wear their issued band prior to using any Eagle Harbor pool. Swim tests are currently being conducted on a daily basis at Waterfront Park. Beginning May 8th Swim Park will be administering Swim Tests. Please try and take your swim test prior to the opening of Swim Park to avoid lengthy delays. There will be dedicated staff member administering Swim Tests at Swim Park the first 10 days the pool is open to speed up the process. However, we still expect long delays due to the small number of resident children that have taken the test to date.
Beginning May 8th the adult pool at Waterfront Park will be for adults only 18 years of age and older. Children will be allowed in the Family pool, the Feature pool and the Frog pool.
Swim Park and Waterfront Beginning May 1st the adult pool will return to adults only (18 & over) for the remainder of the summer. Staff will continue to conduct swim testing in the far lap lane until May 8th. Children will be allowed in the Family pool, the Feature pool and the Frog pool. Adult Lap Swim
will begin May 4th Lap Swim will be every Tuesday – Friday 6am-7:15am
Swim Park and Waterfront Lifeguards will call “Break” every hour for 10 minutes. Break is an opportunity for all children to use the restroom, take a break from swimming and rehydrate. Children in all pools including Splash Pad and the baby pools will be asked to sit out. We ask for the parents cooperation enforcing this rule.

Now is a good time to turn your attention outward and take a look at your curb appeal. The following items may need your attention and spring is a good time to spruce up your home/lawn. TRIMMING • Shrubs & Hedges – shrubs and hedges should be neatly trimmed on a regular basis • Trees - Tree trimming does not require ARC approval, however, tree removal DOES require ARC review and approval. However, before you begin pulling out your shrubs, hedges and/or trees, you’ll want to check with the HOA office for the community landscape design requirements and whether or not your project requires prior ARC review: 904-278-0616 • DEAD PALM FRONDS – To keep your palms healthy and looking great, dead palm fronds should be removed in the spring and fall. Check with a lawn care professional.

LAWNS • Is your lawn dead in spots or are weeds taking over? Services that spray for weeds and fertilize are surprisingly inexpensive. Although homeowners can undertake these tasks themselves, they are not able to purchase the chemicals used by professionals. • Test your sprinkler system. St. Augustine grass is very hardy but requires regular watering during our hot summer months. • Add a little color in your landscape beds. Check out your local garden center where colorful seasonal flowers and plants abound and can really freshen the appearance and welcoming aspect of your home. Florida Safe Passing Laws: Florida requires the driver of a vehicle overtaking a bicycle or other non-motorized vehicle must pass the bicycle or other nonmotorized vehicle at a safe distance of not less than 3 feet between the vehicle and the bicycle or other non-motorized vehicle. Source: Fla. Stat. §316.083 Florida Helmet Law: Florida requires that any person under the age of 16 riding a bicycle, as an operator or passenger, must wear a protective bicycle helmet. The failure of a person to wear a bicycle helmet or the failure of a parent or guardian to prevent a child from riding a bicycle without a bicycle helmet may not be considered evidence of negligence or contributory negligence. Source: Fla. Stat. §316.2065 Where to Ride: Florida requires that a bicyclist, traveling at a speed less than the speed of traffic, must ride as close as practicable to the right-hand edge of the roadway except under any of the following circumstances: • When overtaking and passing another bicycle or vehicle proceeding in the same direction; • When preparing for a left turn at an intersection or into a private road or driveway;
Mandatory Use of Separated Facilities: Florida requires that any person operating a bicycle upon a roadway at less than the normal speed of traffic at the time and place and under the conditions then existing shall ride in the lane marked for bicycle use if a lane is marked for bicycle use. Source: Fla. Stat. §316.2065(5)
Bicycling Under the Influence: In Florida, bicycles are defined as vehicles. Florida's law prohibiting driving while under the influence of alcohol or other controlled substances is written so that it applies to all vehicles and therefore applies to bicyclists. Bicycles should not be operated while intoxicated and operating a bicycle while under the influence of alcohol or other controlled substances may result in severe punishments. Source: Fla. Stat. §§316.193; 316.003
Requirement to Stop: Florida does not provide any modifications to the requirement to come to a complete stop when directed to stop by traffic control devices and does not authorize bicyclists to disobey traffic lights that fail to detect bicyclists.
