A LASTING
LEGACY The late Tom Poberezny, who served as EAA’s president for more than 20 years and was also renowned for his aerobatic and air show flying careers, was honored with a life-size bronze sculpture that was unveiled on Monday, July 24, at the EAA Aviation Museum. The sculpture stands across from a similar statue of Tom’s father, EAA founder Paul Poberezny, and presents Tom as so many remember him — with a big smile on his face, looking up at the Christen Eagle he performed in for decades.
