JEFF WHERRY
Project Executive
Jeff is a Project Executive in JE Dunn’s Healthcare Division with extensive experience leading complex healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through completion. He is responsible for overall project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, permitting, safety, procurement, and client relations. Throughout his career, Jeff has successfully delivered a wide range of healthcare renovations, expansions, and new construction projects, consistently balancing quality, schedule, and operational continuity in active healthcare environments.
For the proposed Ocala Neighborhood Hospital Expansion Project, Jeff will provide executive leadership and oversight to help ensure successful project delivery while maintaining close collaboration with the owner, design team, and trade partners. Drawing on his extensive healthcare experience, he will proactively identify challenges, develop effective solutions, and guide the team in delivering a high-quality facility that supports the owner’s goals, budget, schedule, and long-term vision.

As Director of Preconstruction for JE Dunn’s National Healthcare Group, Jim Cummings brings nine years of experience leading preconstruction efforts on complex healthcare projects nationwide. He provides strategic leadership throughout the planning process, guiding multidisciplinary teams to develop cost-effective solutions, manage project risk, and establish a clear roadmap for successful project delivery.
For the proposed Ocala Neighborhood Hospital Expansion Project, Jim will provide strategic leadership throughout the preconstruction process, helping align the project with the owner’s budget, schedule, and long-term goals while maximizing value. He will oversee strategic planning, cost management, team leadership, and the implementation of collaborative Target Value Delivery practices to support informed decision-making and project certainty. By leveraging JE Dunn’s comprehensive preconstruction platform and fostering collaboration among the owner, design team, and project stakeholders, Jim will help establish a strong foundation for successful project execution and a seamless transition into construction.

Senior Project Manager
John Marshall is a Project Manager with JE Dunn’s National Healthcare Group and brings 11 years of experience delivering complex healthcare projects. Throughout his career, he has successfully completed 12 projects across the Florida market, providing him with a strong understanding of local clients, trade partners, and project requirements. John is experienced in managing all phases of construction, from preconstruction planning through project closeout, with a focus on collaboration, quality, budget, and schedule.
For the proposed Ocala Neighborhood Hospital Expansion Project, John will coordinate JE Dunn’s day-to-day project activities while working closely with the owner, design team, and trade partners from preconstruction through completion. He will lead constructability reviews, support strategic planning, monitor project costs and schedules, oversee subcontract administration and project billings, and implement processes that promote safety, quality, and schedule certainty. His healthcare expertise and Florida market experience will help position the project for successful delivery while minimizing risk and maintaining operational continuity.

Throughout his career, he has successfully delivered more than 45 projects across the Florida market, giving him extensive knowledge of local healthcare construction, trade partners, and project requirements. Chris is recognized for his leadership in managing field operations, maintaining safe and efficient job sites, and delivering high-quality projects while balancing safety, quality, and schedule.
For the proposed Ocala Neighborhood Hospital Expansion Project, Chris will provide overall field leadership and oversight, guiding the onsite team and coordinating trade partner activities throughout construction. He will oversee construction sequencing, implement safety and quality processes, and leverage proactive planning, constructability reviews, and clear communication to help deliver a project that meets the owner’s goals for budget, schedule, quality, and operational continuity.
