A Letter from the President

A Letter from the President and CEO

Looking back on 2025, I am more energized than ever about where our work, our employees, and our clients are taking us. It’s been a year defined by collaboration, resilience, and results. It’s been a powerful reminder that the work we do together is what defines our future.

The construction industry again faced persistent labor shortages and economic uncertainty, but those challenges inspired fresh thinking and innovative solutions. Working side by side with our trade partners, designers, and communities, JE Dunn teams delivered projects that not only met expectations but helped shape what’s next in the places where we live, work, and build.

Our success this year was driven by a simple truth: Growth happens when we put people first and build authentic partnerships grounded in trust. From coast to coast, we brought projects to life of every size and scope — from transformative megaprojects to vital community buildings like schools, healthcare facilities, and public safety centers, to breaking ground on some of the most exciting and sustainable developments in our history.

As we look ahead, we remain focused on our strong partnerships, unmatched communication, and culture of collaboration so we can meet any challenge head-on — together. Thank you for the trust you place in JE Dunn and for the shared accomplishments we celebrated in 2025. We are excited to continue building a stronger future with you.

Company Overview 0.65

Partnering for a Brighter Future

People are at the heart of our success, and that includes our employees and their families, as well as our clients and our partners. We believe that bringing together the right people and the right tools is how we guarantee greater certainty of results when you build with us.

eNPS

To ensure greater success across all our projects, we prioritize investing in our employees, their engagement, and especially their safety. Year-over-year JE Dunn has consistently strong eNPS results. Our 2025 engagement score is in the 94th percentile when compared to Gallup’s database. Our workforce is engaged, motivated, and supported, and that translates to successful, safe, and collaborative projects for our clients.

As we deepen our partnerships, we’re expanding that same commitment to our trade partners through a new survey initiative — because we value listening to everyone who works with us to deliver successful projects for our clients.

Mission Critical

Mission Critical

The demand for artificial intelligence has sparked a modern-day gold rush: the race to support global demand with data center infrastructure. As a top 10 mission critical builder, JE Dunn is expertly navigating this rush and mastering the challenges it presents.

On this digital frontier, our key to success is forging powerful partnerships and pioneering new methods. We’re pushing the boundaries with off-site prefabrication, optimizing our crews with smart automation, building sustainably, and creating resilient supply chains built for today’s reality.

Our footprint is growing fast. 2025 was a record year, with our projects spanning over 3.7 million square feet and building a massive 1.3 GW of capacity across North America.

As we look to 2026, we know this historic rush won’t last forever. That’s why we’re not just building for the boom — we are laying the permanent foundation for how the world will connect, create, and communicate for generations to come.

Advanced Industries

Advanced Industries

The global semiconductor market is experiencing a significant shift with its accelerating demand for AI-driven technologies, alongside evolving economic conditions. Although the CHIPS Act set out to boost domestic manufacturing, ongoing policy shifts have introduced uncertainty, and international investment in semiconductor production now exceeds U.S. levels.

Clients are navigating a market defined by both unprecedented demand and volatility. Many are moving away from a “build it and they will come” approach, opting instead to delay major capital investments until customer commitments are secured. This shift increases pressure on project delivery and speed to market.

JE Dunn supports clients by providing predictability in cost, scope, and schedule which are critical in an uncertain landscape. Semiconductor facilities are among the most complex building types, and our teams understand these systems from the ground up. Through accurate early estimating, scope alignment, and the use of off-site manufacturing to improve safety, quality, and efficiency, we help clients make confident decisions in a rapidly changing industry.

Industrial & Manufacturing

Manufacturers continued to invest in AI and automation in 2025 to improve efficiency and address workforce challenges, including uncertainty driven by tariffs. Through early engagement and a collaborative mindset, JE Dunn remained a trusted partner in reshaping communities and driving innovation across the industrial landscape.

Early in 2025, JE Dunn completed Dongwha Electrolyte’s first production facility in North America. With an annual production capacity of 86,000 tons, the facility can supply enough material for nearly two million electric vehicles per year. As the design-builder, our team was engaged in early design discussions, facilitating streamlined decision-making and proactive issue resolution.

Fall 2025 marked the completion of our second project with Southeast Toyota Distributors. The new vehicle processing center, located in Jacksonville, Florida, at JAXPORT, includes seven buildings across more than 88 acres built to process nearly 4,000 vehicles per week for distribution across the southeast.

Looking ahead, JE Dunn remains focused on supporting our clients through thoughtful collaboration, technical excellence, and a deep understanding of the evolving industrial landscape.

Healthcare

Healthcare

From expanding access in growing communities to creating more patientcentered, tech-enabled environments, healthcare organizations are reimagining how and where care is delivered.

As health systems continue transforming during this incredibly dynamic time, JE Dunn has been collaborating with clients and partners to deliver innovative solutions, data-driven budgets, and efficient speed to market. Informed by expertise and diverse insights from our national healthcare leaders, each project’s plan is also rooted in our steadfast commitment to the local community.

Our Atrium Health Lake Norman Hospital and specialty care medical office projects in North Carolina exemplify the need for both innovative thinking to meet growth and customization to meet unique community needs. Built to expand access to much-needed care in one of the state’s fastest-growing regions, this new health campus is the result of a highly collaborative approach. When we work together, we can better deliver state-of-the-art healthcare facilities with flexibility for the future, elevated patient experiences, and a strong community connection.

Corporate Environments

After an increase in return-to-work plans, companies explored ways to update their employee spaces to embrace new working styles, strengthen company culture, and increase productivity in a postpandemic world.

In Kansas City, we refreshed several corporate environments — including our own headquarters — to help attract top talent and invite current employees to come together in commute-worthy spaces. Our redesigned headquarters embraces the latest technology and reimagines where and how we work, whether it be from streamlined office cubicles to flexible, collaborative working spaces, or private call rooms. One of JE Dunn HQ’s most popular perks, our in-house cafe, now offers more seating and updated furniture, new amenities like a coffee bar with cold brew on tap, and an indoor/outdoor social space for gatherings of all kinds. Office renovations for several confidential projects around the Midwest include similar features.

Aviation

Aviation

JE Dunn partnered with airports and airlines nationwide to expand capacity and elevate the passenger experience. Population growth continues to drive major aviation infrastructure investments, and airports are competing to become travelers’ preferred hubs. Airlines and airports are prioritizing passenger comfort through premium lounges, modernized terminals and restrooms, and updated baggage handling systems that improve reliability and reduce wait times. Operations are also evolving; larger aircraft require bigger holdrooms and wider concourses, prompting airports to adapt. JE Dunn helps transform and expand facilities originally built for regional jets into modern hubs that can meet today’s demand.

Highlights include modernization and concourse expansions at Myrtle Beach International Airport, adding six new gates with holdroom seating, refreshed concessions, and updated wayfinding while maintaining operations. In Minneapolis, we advanced Delta’s multi-phase effort to modernize 99 gates with new finishes, technology, and power-equipped seating. In Atlanta, we delivered a 75,000-square-foot Delta Sky Club alongside widening Concourse D to improve passenger flow. Ongoing work at the Charleston International Airport’s West Gates will add new gates, holdrooms, expanded concessions, and international arrivals capacity.

Together, these projects showcase how JE Dunn meets evolving needs while redefining the passenger journey.

Our approach integrates Target Value Delivery, continuous estimating, advanced project controls, and off-site fabrication and modularization to ensure efficiency and reliability at every stage.

Our teams combine precision and partnership to turn complexity into confidence, helping clients optimize production and bring life-changing therapies to the world.

Education

Education

As education continues to evolve, so must the environments where students learn, grow, and prepare for their futures. Schools and universities are seeking authentic partners who can deliver safe, inspiring, and adaptable spaces that meet the diverse needs of today’s learners. In 2025, JE Dunn was honored to partner on projects across the country that reflect the full spectrum of educational experiences. From new elementary schools and high school expansions to university academic halls, STEM centers, chapels, and auditoriums — each project was designed to enhance student engagement and strengthen communities.

By working hand in hand with our education partners, we continue to deliver learning environments that balance tradition with innovation — spaces that encourage creativity, collaboration, and resilience while preparing students to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Multi-Family and Student Housing

Multi-Family and Student Housing

Today’s residents are seeking more than a place to live; they want communities that connect, support, and inspire. Student housing and multi-family housing developments alike are responding with vibrant, amenity-rich environments. Features like pool decks, 24/7 fitness centers, co-working spaces, and onsite dining and retail create seamless opportunities for living, working, and socializing that foster a sense of community and belonging. Clients are increasingly folding sustainability into their designs and amenities, including EV charging stations and sustainable fixtures.

By integrating thoughtful design, innovative amenities, and ongoing collaboration, JE Dunn partners with clients to bring these visions to life in ways that truly resonate with residents.

Together, these partnerships are redefining what housing can be — experience-driven communities that support connection, inspire engagement, and are designed for the future.

Mixed-Use Hospitality Retail

Mixed-Use, Hospitality, and Retail

Our teams collaborated closely with clients in 2025 to bring to life new spaces for luxury experiences, leisure activities, and extra comforts when people are busy living life away from home. In Omaha, we built one of the first structures in Heartwood Preserve, a new high-end development west of the city. The 20,000-square-foot space created for Gunderson’s Jewelers will house the largest Rolex repair facility in North and South America, an exclusive bridal salon, conference space, a speakeasy, and a lounge that includes a terrace. Nearby in Kansas City, our teams blended fine dining and football to create 1587 Prime Steakhouse, a new venture backed by Kansas City Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

On the East Coast, we unveiled a new Caption by Hyatt hotel in Nashville and work toward completing the renovated Kiawah Island Golf Resort outside Charleston, South Carolina. We were also especially honored to be part of JE Dunn’s third Hope Lodge project for the American Cancer Society, ensuring families seeking critical treatments in the Nashville area have a convenient, cost-free, and comfortable place of respite and relief away from home.

Cultural and Entertainment

Cultural and Entertainment

Our work in 2025 focused on creating inviting places to gather and connect for both visitors and the staff and volunteers who make our experiences in these spaces richer.

The projects we delivered this year share a common purpose: bringing people together. Whether creating spaces for learning at the University City Regional Library in Charlotte, enhancing recreation at Loch Lloyd Country Club, or welcoming summer back to Williston, North Dakota with its first outdoor water park in more than a decade, each project reflects JE Dunn’s commitment to building communities.

As with all our projects, the people we bring together are what make the outcomes even greater. Partnering authentically with our clients, trade partners, and community members empowers us to transform structures into social hubs where communities can thrive today and envision tomorrow.

Sports and Recreation

In sports, greatness is never achieved alone — it’s built by people working together. JE Dunn partners with clients, designers, and athletic programs to push boundaries, blending innovation, sustainability, and constructability with cutting-edge design and technology. Together, we don’t just build facilities — we create experiences that inspire athletes, fans, and communities alike.

This year, the energy of packed stands, rising fan expectations, and the demand for world-class amenities continued to redefine what’s possible. From the renovation and addition to the historic Cotton Bowl Stadium to the reimagined Nashville Predators locker room, our work reflects the passion and performance that make sports a powerful force for connection and camaraderie.

Historic Preservation

Historic Preservation

Historic buildings leave a lasting impact on the communities they serve, and our work is shaped by the collaboration that brings these spaces to life. From museums and churches to civic buildings and cultural landmarks, we partner with architects, designers, and local organizations to preserve character, craftsmanship, and the stories embedded in each space. Through thoughtful restoration and adaptive reuse, we ensure these buildings continue to inspire and engage for generations, honoring the past while creating opportunities for the future, all while bringing people and communities together to connect, explore, and be transformed by the spaces around them.

Government and Justice

Government and Justice

As a trusted partner to the government, we aim to provide consistent and predictable outcomes for high-priority mission projects. This is well represented by the hospital and clinic replacement in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This new world-class healthcare facility honors the rich history of Fort Leonard Wood and takes advantage of the site’s rolling terrain while providing state-of-the-art care for service members and their families. Additionally, completion of the first of many projects at the Kansas City National Security Center enables the Department of Energy to meet updated goals in deterring nuclear threats.

State, county, and municipal governments remain dedicated to developing vital infrastructure, securing key facilities, and strengthening emergency operations. Projects completed this year — like the City of Port Wentworth Fire Station Headquarters and the City of Austin Canyon Creek Fire and EMS Station — reflect our commitment to public safety. These facilities both enhance emergency response capabilities and serve as centers for training, education, and support for first responders. In Minnesota, a new state facility for the Department of Public Safety and Homeland Security & Emergency Management increases security, optimizes operational flow, and enables long-term, continuous operations. Completion of a full renovation of the City of Grandview’s City Hall and Police Department, in addition to fire station remodels, provide upgraded municipal facilities for staff, officials, and the public.

Making an Impact

Making an Impact

We have a resolute responsibility to further our founder’s legacy of serving others through corporate and employee outreach in the communities where we live, work, and build. The people we are surrounded and supported by inspire us daily. Giving back by mentoring and spending intentional time serving our neighbors is what fuels us to keep moving forward and gives us real insight into what our communities need to thrive.

Inspired by the 2024 “Building a Legacy” centennial campaign, our Community Impact team developed the Cornerstone Campaign. Through this new, yearly initiative, JE Dunn will intentionally donate over $1.5 million each year to an initiative close to JE Dunn’s heart, chosen by our employees — all in addition to our existing annual giving. In 2025, our employees voted to make “access to safe and supportive spaces for kids in need” the Cornerstone Campaign focus. In addition to this new campaign, our employee volunteers and our network of Community Ambassadors generously shared their time and talents to enhance local engagement and companywide campaigns like National Volunteer Week, JE Dunn Has Heart, and Speak Up for Suicide Prevention and Awareness.
