Chloe ready to bloom in the Rose of Tralee By Paul Byrne LOUTH Rose Chloe Moran has thanked the people of Louth for their unwavering support since she was chosen to represent Louth at the prestigious Rose of Tralee Festival which begins tomorrow. The Festival takes place all weekend before the Selection nights take place on Monday and Tuesday where the Rose of Tralee will be announced. According to Chloe, she is immensely proud to be a native of Louth and she has promised to represent her County and showcase all the wonderful places and people that inhabit it. The DkIT nursing student from Belfry Avenue in Dundalk is determined to showcase not only her hometown but also the
community that has helped shape her ambitions. A past pupil of St Vincent’s Secondary School, the 23-yearold is excited to showcase her home town and County. “It’s not often I’m stuck for words, but trying to explain the last few weeks? It’s very hard. Never mind myself, but to see the amount of joy, craic, excitement, love and support that has been shared by my family, friends, neighbours, communities, the town and the whole county has been absolutely unreal. “If I could bottle up the feeling that has been in the air around Louth these last few weeks, I’d be a very wealthy woman, however, it’s just something that never could be sold. Louth Rose Chloe Moran says she is heading to Tralee with a very full heart and absolutely bursting with pride to come from County Louth. Continued on Page 2
