Jim has played an integral role in strengthening one of central Ohio’s most iconic and respected restaurant brands, Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern, while ensuring its values align with community connection, service, and integrity. Jim provides strategic direction across restaurant operations by mentoring teams, developing talent and fostering a culture rooted in genuine hospitality. His leadership has maintained high standards for guest experience while navigating an evolving restaurant industry, including Cap City Fine Diner and Bar and Valentina’s in Dublin, Ohio, and Marcella’s and Molly Woo’s in central Ohio.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jim is deeply committed to giving back to the Dublin and central Ohio communities. He is actively involved with youth sports initiatives, including the Board of Directors of the Dublin Youth Athletics Association and as an Advisory Council member of OSU LiFEsports.
“Jim and his wife have raised their two children within the Dublin City Schools District and has been actively involved with youth sports initiatives like OSU LiFEsports. He has dedicated his time and raised thousands of donations to allow over a hundred children in our community to have access to sports who otherwise would not have the opportunity to participate while, learning social skills and civic responsibilities.” said Asch Mikhail, Dublin Chamber Board President.

Community Service Day is Dublin’s volunteer “spring clean-up day.” On this day, you are invited to help area senior citizens, Dublin schools, and non-profit organizations as well as neighbors facing personal hardships, with their spring clean-up and outdoor projects. Please note that youth under the age of 18 must be with be accompanied by an adult for the entirety of the event.

Dublin City Council Elects Amorose Groomes as Mayor, De Rosa as Vice Mayor, Welcomes Two New Council Members
At its Jan. 5, 2026 organizational meeting, Dublin City Council elected Chris Amorose Groomes to serve as mayor and Cathy De Rosa as vice mayor for two-year terms. Mayor Amorose Groomes was first elected as an at-large Council Member in 2015 and re-elected in 2019 and 2023. She has served as Mayor for the past two years. De Rosa was first elected as Ward 4 representative in 2018 and re-elected in 2022 and 2026. She previously served as Vice Mayor in 2020-2021 and 2022-2023.
