Beach safety - Enjoy Noosa’s beautiful beaches safely – swim between the flags on patrolled beaches and follow the instructions and advice of the surf lifesavers on duty. Red and yellow flags are used to indicate the safest patrolled swimming area.
Sun safety - Take care when you head out into the sun – cover up and protect yourself against harmful UV rays. If you find yourself without sunscreen on the beach ask the lifesavers for some of their ready supply.
Climate - Noosa is famous for its mild climate. It has an average annual temperature of 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit). Water temperature ranges from 19 degrees in winter to 25 degrees in summer.
