Dr. Seth A. Eidemiller is a board-certified emergency physician whose professional journey began on a fourth-generation dairy farm in Idaho. Early experiences in farming, wildfire suppression, and construction helped him build a strong work ethic and practical problem-solving abilities. After earning degrees in International Studies and Spanish, he returned to Boise to complete medical prerequisites and laboratory sciences. His medical education continued at the University of Nevada, Reno, and he completed his residency training in emergency medicine in Fresno. He now serves as Vice Chair of the Chico Emergency Medicine Physician Group. He received two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Idaho and later enhanced his scientific foundation at Boise State University. His roles as a lab instructor and manager, combined with his three years of experience in biomedical research, provided him with significant insights into systems biology and human health. These experiences shaped his careful and direct approach to medicine. Before entering medicine, he worked as a wildland firefighter with the U.S. Forest Service, gaining valuable skills in construction, including carpentry and electrical work. He also worked in restaurants, where he learned to manage multiple demands and maintain clear communication during busy times. Dr. Seth Eidemiller entered the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2012 and graduated with a degree in 2016, having completed his four-year program. His residency at UCSF-Fresno placed him in one of California’s busiest emergency departments, where he trained in airway management, resuscitation, central and arterial line placement, and bedside ultrasound. He cared for patients with trauma, sepsis, cardiac arrest, stroke, respiratory failure, and psychiatric emergencies, as well as those with ongoing medical needs.
