Throughout The Course You Will Write A Serie Throughout the course, you will write a series of three business memos. The memos are due in Module Two, Module Four, and Module Six. In each memo, you will describe your current roles and responsibilities and how they link to Sport Management program goals and School of Business competencies. Select a minimum of five goals and/or competencies to discuss in your memo. You do not need to discuss the same goals and competencies in each memo. The memo should also include the total hours that you worked in the time period.

In the first memo, submitted by Module Two, I will focus on several key program goals including Theory Into Practice, Professionalism, and Strategic Perspective. My role involves coordinating community sports programs, which allows me to apply theoretical concepts such as organizational behavior and marketing strategies into real-world scenarios. For example, I utilized analytical tools to assess participant engagement levels, aligning with the goal of turning theory into practical application. Moreover, professionalism is reflected in my adherence to ethical standards in managing youth programs, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment. My responsibilities also require strategic thinking, such as resource allocation and event planning, which directly support the development of a strategic perspective in sport management. Additionally, I will cover selected School of Business competencies, including Business Communications, Problem Solving and Decision Making, and Teamwork. I regularly develop and deliver reports to stakeholders, honing my written and oral communication skills.
