Think Of An Ethical Dilemma/issue That You Experien Think of an ethical dilemma/issue that you experienced recently – one in which you had to decide whether one choice or another was the more ethical. This can be a situation you experienced at work, at home, or elsewhere. Briefly describe the situation and the decision you made. This should take up no more than approximately one-third of your paper. Second, fully discuss your rationale for the decision. The most important part of this paper is that you fully support your decision (i.e., provide a detailed explanation for your decision). This section of the paper should consist of about two-thirds of your paper. If you wouldn't mind then I would like my paper more experience works, like see co-worker theft or something like that. If you had great idea then thats would be great. My professor also wants it more critical thinking, and have some professional tones on it too. Thanks

Paper For Above instruction In this paper, I will examine an ethical dilemma I recently encountered at my workplace, where I observed a co-worker engaging in theft. This situation demanded a careful assessment of ethical considerations, personal values, and professional responsibilities. I will first describe the incident and the decision I made, followed by a thorough, critical analysis of the rationale behind my decision, supported by ethical theories and professional standards. The incident occurred in my retail workplace, where I noticed that a trusted co-worker was regularly taking merchandise without paying for it. The theft was subtle, involving small items that accumulated over time, and was not immediately obvious. Confronting the co-worker or reporting the behavior involved significant ethical considerations. My initial instinct was to report the theft to management to uphold integrity and company policies. However, I also experienced internal conflict about how reporting might impact workplace relationships and the potential repercussions for the co-worker, who had personal financial difficulties. The decision I arrived at was to report the theft anonymously to the store manager, emphasizing the importance of maintaining ethical standards and ensuring accountability while minimizing personal conflict. I believed that supporting an ethical workplace environment required addressing the misconduct directly, even if it involved difficult conversations or repercussions for the accused employee. My choice was guided by ethical principles such as honesty, justice, and the duty to prevent harm, as well as professional standards that emphasize integrity and accountability in the workplace.
