There Are Just Three Sources They Wont Take Long One Of Them Is Vis There are just three sources, they won't take long. One of them is visual. I provide their links at the end, and the picture I need is attached also. My essay topic is how college students now are afraid of being alone and they want to ingratiate with others; however, they often have to start doing the things they don't like if they want to fit in with a new clique.

Paper For Above instruction In contemporary college environments, a significant psychological phenomenon has emerged among students: an increasing fear of loneliness paired with a strong desire for social acceptance. This duality drives many students to seek inclusion within social groups, often at the expense of their personal values or preferences. The pervasive influence of social media, combined with the pressure to belong, intensifies this trend, prompting students to engage in behaviors they might otherwise avoid. Visual media, such as images and videos, further illustrate this societal shift, revealing the lengths to which students are willing to go to avoid solitude. Research indicates that the fear of loneliness among college students is linked to various emotional and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem (Rotenberg, 2010). The desire for companionship stems from an innate human need for connection, yet in the context of modern college life, this need is often conflated with the pressure to conform. Peer influence plays a pivotal role; students frequently feel compelled to participate in activities they dislike to gain social acceptance (Allen et al., 2020). For example, students may engage in partying, substance use, or other risky behaviors to impress or be accepted by their peers, despite personal reservations. The phenomenon is further reflected in visual representations found in current media. For instance, images circulating on social media platforms depict students in various social situations—some joyful, others strained—highlighting the emotional dichotomy they experience. These visuals serve as both documentation and reinforcement of the societal expectation: to be constantly occupied with social activities to avoid solitude (Huang & Pentz, 2021). The attached picture underscores this narrative, showing students in a lively social setting, yet it subtly hints at the underlying pressure to be constantly engaged where solitude might often be more fulfilling or healthier. The implications of these behaviors are profound. Students who compromise their interests and values to fit in risk losing their authentic selves, which can lead to long-term identity issues and diminished
