Throughout this course, my growth as a writer, researcher, and thinker has been significant, particularly in developing my ability to craft targeted business communication and to refine my ideas through structured revision. Reflecting on my journey, I recognize notable improvements in my capacity to produce effective written and oral presentations tailored to specific audiences, purposes, and subjects. This evolution has not only enhanced my communication skills but also increased my confidence in delivering professional content in academic and business environments.
Beginning the course, I had limited experience in structuring business documents with clarity and purpose. Over time, through the completion of assignments like the Feasibility Report and the PowerPoint presentation, I learned the importance of understanding my audience's needs and expectations. For instance, in the Feasibility Report, I adopted a persuasive tone aimed at decision-makers, supported by credible research and logical reasoning. This experience taught me how to organize information coherently and present key findings convincingly. The process of tailoring my communication for specific audiences has become more intuitive, and I now recognize how essential audience analysis is for effective messaging.

One of the most impactful aspects of this course was the emphasis on the revision process. Engaging with multiple drafts—working early, intermediate, and final versions—allowed me to develop my ideas more fully and to refine my language and structure.
