Drexel University's Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design is dedicated to the experiential education of students in the areas of design, media, entertainment, industry and the performing and visual arts. Westphal offers 16 undergraduate majors, 28 undergraduate minors and six graduate programs housed in award-winning, technologically-enhanced facilities including, four performing and screening theaters, film and music studios, an art gallery, notable collections of 30,000 historic costumes and Sigma Sound Studio recordings, a record label, and a Hollywood-level motion capture studio. Drexel’s renowned cooperative education program (Co-op) incorporates six months of professional experience into the curriculum for all undergraduate students. At both the undergraduate and graduate levels, Westphal values an experiential and hands-on studio approach to classes taught by industry-leading faculty. Our students produce sophisticated work through creative, interdisciplinary practice which provides meaningful, shared experiences that promote individual and communal growth.
