In the Architectural Studies undergraduate program at Drexel University, the Senior Capstone research project takes a wide-ranging approach to architecture. Students consider architecture’s connections to various disciplines within their interdisciplinary pathway courses. Through this program, students explore architecture’s impact on communities, the environment, and human health and well-being. During their senior
year, students undertake a Senior Capstone Research Project, where they delve into a topic that is relevant to the most pressing issues of our time and is in alignment with their academic trajectory. This year, seniors
have tackled topics such as urban landscape, climate change, health and well-being, cultural identity, public health, and social justice.
