Finals fever has hit Tonny, and three of our netball teams have already booked their spot in the Grand Final! B-Grade, C-Grade and C-Reserves are all heading straight to the Big Dance after a stellar season. Massive congratulations to the girls — you’ve done Tonny proud! While our brave Under-15s bowed out of the finals race, their hard work and determination all season deserves special recognition. The journey isn’t over yet, with Under-13s, Under-17s and A-Grade still fighting for their chance to join the Grand Final line-up with preliminary finals looming.

Tongala’s most powerful mural yet has been completed — world-renowned artist Adnate has transforming the Community Bank wall into a striking tribute to Sir Doug Nicholls, celebrating his journey from Tongala footballer to respected national leader and voice for equality. The mural, backed by Sir Doug’s family and the community, will be officially unveiled at Eats and Beats on October 12. More Pages 2 & 3
