FIRST-YEAR TRIAL PRACTICUM
Directly interact with judges, attorneys, and jurors through the only program of its kind in the country that brings a live jury trial to the Drake Law courtroom.

Miguel came to Drake Law School with an interest in helping children in the juvenile justice system. Throughout his time at Drake he actively sought opportunities to pursue his passion through internships with the Polk County Juvenile Court and the Juvenile Division of the Polk County Attorney’s Office. He also served as a student attorney with the Children’s Rights Clinic where he participated in the Iowa Supreme Court’s Juvenile Justice Task Force.
