The Warrior Gala is Walsh Jesuit’s annual dinner and auction that raises muchneeded funds that benefit ALL students of Walsh Jesuit.

Now in its 54th year, the tradition continues. Since its inception in 1973, the gala has raised over $18 million. The event showcases This special evening features sensational live and silent inspiring student performances auction items, dinners and alongside dinner and an networking opportunities. exciting auction, all in support of our students through the Warrior Fund and the Walsh Jesuit community that surrounds them.

Meet Your Honorary Co-Chairs Anthony & Cassie Frammartino Anthony and Cassie Frammartino have been married for 22 years and are the proud parents of four Warriors -past, present and future. Sophia (’23), is a junior at Boston College studying psychology and business leadership, and Ava (’25), is freshman at Wake Forest University studying finance and on the cheerleading team. While at Walsh, the Frammartino girls were active in student government, lacrosse, show choir, cheerleading, cross country and campus ministry. Tommy (’28), currently serves as sophomore class secretary, a student ambassador and is on the football team. Their youngest daughter, Vivien (’31), is in seventh grade at Seton Catholic and excited to follow in her siblings’ footsteps, while undoubtedly finding her own path. It has been through their children’s pivotal experiences and passions explored at Walsh, that Anthony and Cassie have embraced the mission of academic excellence, spiritual growth and service to others that is foundational in a Jesuit education. Cassie grew up in Peoria, Illinois and after graduating from the University of Notre Dame, with a degree in Government and Philosophy found her way to Cleveland to work in consulting and later, supply chain management. Anthony, a lifelong resident of Akron, graduated from the University of Akron with an undergraduate degree in Accounting and from Case Western University with an MBA in Finance. Anthony and Cassie first crossed paths professionally, but quickly decided they were better partners in life than the in workplace. Anthony began his postgraduate career 22 years ago as an Associate with the Townsend Group, a Cleveland based institutional private equity investment firm, and currently serves as Chairman and CEO of the company. Cassie has enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom, as well as volunteering, currently chairing the Advancement Committee for the Seton Board of Directors, as a committee chair for Mothers’ Club, as a Walsh football team mom, and as a member of 100 Women Strong Ohio. Anthony and Cassie are members of the Walsh Jesuit Parent Leadership Council and supporters of the Women’s Board of Akron Children’s Hospital and the Hudson Community Foundation. Residents of Hudson since 2003, and parishioners of St. Mary Church, Anthony and Cassie consider their commitment to Catholic education one of the most the impactful and rewarding decisions they have made. “Foremost, our children have thrived in Catholic schools, and we are confident that their education uniquely equips them to navigate a challenging world. We are grateful for Walsh, and we treasure the friendships we have found in our school communities.” The Frammartinos are thrilled to share the honor of co-chairing the Warrior Gala with Craig and Shelly Kohrs and are looking forward to celebrating with the entire Walsh Jesuit community in April!
MeetMeet youryour Honorary Co-Chairs Co-Chairs Craig & Shelly Kohrs Craig and Shelly have been married for 23 years and are the proud parents of Ella ‘24, a sophomore at The University of Dayton and Gavin ’27. Ella was a proud member of the performing arts while at Walsh and participated in Harmony Gold Show Choir and Theater. Gavin is a member of the Boy’s Soccer team and vice president of the junior class. Shelly, a graduate of The University of Dayton, worked in advertising before staying home with Ella and Gavin. As Ella and Gavin started school at St. Hilary, she became more involved volunteering as a room mom which eventually evolved into being on the Board for the Parents’ Association and then hired as a 1st grade classroom aide. When both graduated and moved on to Walsh Jesuit, she became involved in the Walsh Jesuit Mothers’ Club serving as Vice President, and ultimately President. She is still an active member in her role as Past President. Craig, after graduating with Shelly from The University of Dayton, began a career in business, working as a Buyer for Macy’s Department Stores and Product Manager for Newell Rubbermaid. He then became an Owner and President of Corsa Performance Exhausts. Exiting after 15 years, he is now a founder of Ripple Brands, owning numerous brands whose primary focus is giving back to their communities and using business to grow their positive impact. Together, The Kohrs Family, residing in Sharon Township, remain active in their community by continuing to support future Flyers as Dayton alumni, numerous charitable organizations such as Stewarts Caring Place and Access Shelter, and also are involved members of St Hilary Parish. As their time as parents of WJ students comes to an end in 2027, the opportunity to give back to a community that has given their family so much was impossible to pass up. Walsh has played an important part in their growth as a family and faith, providing opportunities Academically, in the Arts, Athletics, and Campus Ministry. This is a chance to ensure that future Warriors have the same opportunities to set the world on fire. Craig and Shelly are excited to join Anthony and Cassie Frammartino as this year’s Honorary Warrior Gala Co-Chairs!
