MEDITATION WORKSHOP I have learned to listen and obey. Several months ago, I heard the whisper, “offer a four week Meditation Workshop”. I did not question; I did just as the voice of Divine instructed from that spaceless space. Lo and Behold, the proposed August workshop went so well that the participants confronted me on the second class meeting and made me promise to facilitate another Meditation Workshop in the month of September. One of the lovely ladies in the workshop said aloud, “I have found my community.” What? How is it that one could feel such well- being on a virtual platform? What a most uplifting comment!! MEDITATION WORKSHOP (Continued from Page 1...)
Consequently, we will be continuing the Meditation Workshop into the month of September. To be honest, it is incumbent upon me to share the wealth of knowledge that I have learned through 50 years of dedicated spiritual life. Within the August workshop we delved into meditation as a science (understanding mudras, mantras, pranayama, the four levels of consciousness, June 2026 etc). Within the August workshop — just to acknowledge a few — we shared meditations to rid ourselves of self-animosity, enhance creativity, and stimulate the pituitary gland which, in turn, will enhance better health and heighten intuition. We taught meditations to induce peace and consummate Victory in our lives. I lecture for 30 minutes and we meditate for 30 minutes as we encourage the participants to start each day with a Meditative practice. The next workshop will encompass three sessions beginning September 13 from 11 am to 12pm PST. Hope to see you then as we practice techniques to help us flow, grow and glow! If interested simply send an email to: info@sirisatnam.com. The total price will be $75.

HOW TO PROSPER CHANGE Yes, change is challenging. That veritable principle lies within the forefront of my mind as I conduct my private practice. Why is it so difficult to change? Understand that we have this June 2026 ego which concretizes our identity. It tells us who we are as it staunchly opposes growth. So, to embark upon a different way of being in the world is to be in direct confrontation with the Almighty Ego.
know not what awaits us.
What is really going on with an individual who, in critical care, battling cancer asks a relative for a cigarette? What is really going on when an individual in a stifling, suffocating job or relationship yet cannot leave or ameliorate the situation? In other words, when we find ourselves stuck, our ego is in charge not our elevated spirit.
I do realize that I am speaking from the perspective of a man of spirit. I live in WHAT CLIENTS the world of spirit, Infinity, where all SAY possibilities lie. I have seen that the more spirit work that one does the easier it becomes to leap into the Great Beyond.
Ego does not want us to change while the true self is withering, suffocated by fear. We become stubborn and quite resistant to doing something different. We are not limited yet perchance we have had friends, relatives and significant others who subtlety and sometimes not so subtlety have discouraged us from making that leap into the Unknown. Perhaps therein lies the problem: we are afraid of the Unknown. We know if we continue to do as we have done in the past that we will have comfort in the familiar but to change is scary for we
I, personally, have never had a job (lol) yet I have always had plenty of work as I do now. Throughout my life I have Vol.1 learned the importance of stretching, reaching for the Beyond- continually, striving to be the best rendition of myself, testing the waters to see if I am who I think I am, daring to dream in search of true happiness and fulfillment.

WHY NOW?
That individual who perhaps has the greatest challenge with change is the addictive personality. No one seems to like the term addict, so we will use the term, addictive personality; obsessive compulsive, whatever term we use, we are referring to that individual who utilizes some outside stimulant to make themselves feel good while simultaneously numbing themselves from an emotional, feeling life. There are many of us who fall within this category but forfeit using the term “addict.” I have encountered individuals who buy items daily online. There are those who (Continued on Page 5...) Page 4

have their innocuous drink of wine every night while others are glued to the television and video games. Now none of these activities compare to the obvious dangers of drug addiction and chronic alcoholism, yet they serve the same purpose: to suppress June 2026the feelings. Vol.1 In having worked as a Clinical Director in a host of substance abuse agencies, I have seen a thru line: each patient had unresolved pain stemming from childhood sexual abuse, physical abuse and/or neglect. Childhood neglect often goes unacknowledged and unrecognized in the personal Psyche yet, it is just as harmful. Now in 2026 we have these new age addictions: watching porn, vaping, WHY gaming,NOW? phone scrolling while the oldies — food, sex and work — still loom large. Observe yourself during a day, during a week and see if there is any activity to which you compulsively resort.

WHAT CLIENTS Is it difficult to simply be? Must you always have to doSAY something? When there is a quiet moment can you, comfortably, sit in the Peace?
An addictive personality is empty. An addictive personality does not feel. An addictive personality needs something to take them away from themselves. In this understanding, even religion, if it does not deepen one into the true, real, and idiosyncratic self, then assuredly it, too, falls into the category of an addiction. Do understand that the Twelve Step Program is, basically, a spiritual program rooted in trying to help the individual to connect to the free flow of spirit. The goal of the Twelve Step Program is to evoke a spiritual awakening as the addictive personality is encouraged to surrender the will to a Higher Power of their understanding. This brings to mind a statement that the famed psychologist, Carl Jung, made when he declared that he was never able to heal anyone until he was able to bring his client into a conscious relationship with their spirit. Interestingly, in my therapeutic work, this is one of the main goals. At the conclusion of most sessions we do a rebirthing pranayama to deepen clientele into their spirit. And so it is.
