For plans purchased after October 23 2024, please see below. We cover more than 250 activities on all travel insurance* plans for American travelers. We’ve broken the activities up by Snow, Water, Air, Land, Sports and General Activities, and then further broken it down by what plan covers it. We offer four plans: Standard, Explorer, Epic and Annual. The Standard and Annual Plans cover the same activities. The Explorer Plan covers all the activities in the Standard Plan, plus some extras. The Epic Plan covers the same activities in the Explorer and Standard Plans, plus additional ones. As this list is long, we suggest you ‘control F’ (the computer shortcut for ‘find’) to locate the particular activity you are searching for. If you are hiking or rock climbing, be sure to know your maximum elevation so you can purchase the plan that will cover your entire adventure. If you don’t know, it might be best to purchase a higher tier plan (Explorer or Epic) if you think you may go to high altitudes.
