DP Electric (DPE) was founded in 1990 by Daniel Puente and over the course of 30+ years has become one of the leading full-service electrical contracting firms in the Southwest. DPE has developed markets and technologies to become an industry leader in Corporate Office, Healthcare, Industrial, Aviation, Mission Critical, Hospitality, and Higher Education. Utilizing advanced preconstruction processes including BIM/VDC, Design-Assist, Design-Build, and Value Engineering has allowed DPE to identify issues early on and maintain quality work throughout projects. DPE’s service department is available 24/7 to provide clients with on-call solutions. DPE has a long-standing policy of dependable people - dependable performance.

This program is offered at no expense to DP Electric employees and is recognized by the department of labor as an accredited program.

DP Electric leads the industry with advanced technology for BIM/VDC, Trimble, 3D Modeling, designbuild, and value engineering.
Our onsite prefabrication department alleviates scheduling problems and streamlines project supply costs. We focuse on decreasing installation time, material waste, and on-site manpower.

The Special Projects Division offers owner direct electrical construction services. This includes site upgrades, retrofits, and new construction.
DP Electric Service Department offers 24/7 emergency electrical service and maintenance programs to fit all client needs. Response time is under 2 hours from the time of call placed.

DP Electric’s Special Projects Group, or SPG for short, is a department within DP Electric that handles the project sizes and complexities that are between our service department and our larger construction projects. The clients for these projects include owner direct, general contractors, and other trade partners. Each of the SPG projects has a dedicated project manager, a field leader, and fully qualified electricians building the project.
The service department is comprised of highly skilled electrical service technicians who take pride in being courteous and professional. Every technician on staff has a minimum of eight years of electrical experience and is trained and certified in OSHA 30, Confined Space, First Aid/CPR, and NFPA70E/ Safety Equipment.
The DP Electric Service Department offers 24/7 emergency electrical service and maintenance programs to fit all client needs. Response time is under two hours from the time of call placed.
