Phoenix Wealth Advisors is not a registered broker/dealer and is independent of Raymond James Financial Services. The 2026 Forbes ranking of America’s Best-In-State Wealth Management Teams, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. This ranking is based upon the period from 3/31/2024 to 3/31/2025 and was released on 01/07/2026. Advisor teams that are considered must have one advisor with a minimum of seven years of experience, have been in existence as a team for at least one year, have at least 5 team members, and have been nominated by their firm. The algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of approximately 12,787 team nominations, 6,149 advisor teams received the award based on thresholds. This ranking is not indicative of an advisor’s future performance, is not an endorsement, and may not be representative of individual clients’ experience. WELCOME FROM T H E MAYO R

Greetings

O

n behalf of the City of Durham, I would like to welcome you to DPAC! Like so many of our residents, I consider DPAC one of the true jewels of Durham and the entire Triangle region. Since opening its doors in 2008, DPAC has filled our city with energy, excitement, and world-class entertainment. Season after season, it continues to attract visitors from near and far with unforgettable performances that light up the stage. This season is no exception — featuring some of Broadway’s biggest hits, along with can’t-miss concerts, comedy shows, and special events. I’m especially thrilled to see so many fan favorites returning and new performers making their DPAC debut. And, as always, the full DPAC experience awaits you — the beauty of the theater, the legendary customer service, and the easy access to all that downtown Durham has to offer. Whether you’re grabbing dinner at a local restaurant, visiting nearby museums, or simply strolling through our vibrant downtown, your visit to DPAC is also a chance to experience the spirit of Durham. As your Mayor, one of the true joys of this role is welcoming you to one of the greatest theaters in the world. But don’t just take my word for it — since 2010, DPAC has consistently ranked among the top ten theaters and performing arts centers in the nation, earning national awards and recognition from Billboard, Pollstar, and the International Entertainment Buyers Association. Thank you for choosing DPAC and Durham. Enjoy the show and your time here — I know it will be an unforgettable experience.  In Service and Gratitude, Leonardo Williams – Mayor

WELCOME FROM T H E G EN ER AL MAN AG ER

Welcome, Friends, Members, Guests, and Family

T

hank you for joining us for this newest chapter in DPAC’s history, our 18th year of presenting the biggest shows in the world that play theaters and performing arts centers. The new Broadway season once again reminds me of all that is possible with musical theatre and the incredible performances of Broadway at DPAC. There are 2,700 seats at DPAC, which means that during any given performance, there are 2,700 different relationships to the sights, sounds, emotions, and songs that make these performances so incredibly moving, often funny, and always memorable. Before the lights dim and the curtain rises, look to your left and look to your right, and consider that every show this season offers the chance for connection, to the story onstage and to each other. From the newest Broadway hits to fan favorites to the eternal, classic blockbusters, adventure awaits with each performance in our 2026/2027 season. Most of all, it is my hope that you will find several new “best ever” shows and performances this season. For me, the Broadway musicals I hold closest are often about the beauty and sometimes heartbreak of life, when the world onstage moves into the unknown and unexpected. This season you may find that with two of my favorite new shows, Buena Vista Social Club and Maybe Happy Ending. With remote work, ever more screen time, and the era of AI coming at us from every direction, there are few things that feel so quietly important as sitting in a room together and listening to a story. The human connection when we gather for the shared experience of a live entertainment event can be a reminder we are not alone. So, I ask that you look to your neighbors on your left and on your right and feel this sense of community, brought together by the power of Broadway. On behalf of everyone on the team here at DPAC, and our presenting sponsor First Horizon, welcome to DPAC. We’re glad you are here. 

The Best of High School Musical Theater Talent in Our Region

S

ince 2010, the DPAC Rising Star Awards have celebrated outstanding achievements in high school musical theatre made throughout central North Carolina by focusing attention on the meaningful work being done both on and off stage by dedicated teachers and students. This program is a part of the National High School Musical Theatre Awards™, also known as the Jimmy Awards®, in honor of Jimmy Nederlander Sr. Each school year, area high schools register their musical production for adjudication, and each spring, the most talented high school musical theater students come together to compete live on DPAC's stage for a chance to represent DPAC at the Jimmy Awards in New York City. Regional Awards Programs like the DPAC Rising Star Awards propel the careers of Broadway's future stars. To learn more, visit DPACnc.com/community/dpac-rising-star-awards.

In Spring 2026, DPAC named Mollie Reeves (Cardinal Gibbons High School) and Gabriel Emery (Wake Forest High School) The DPAC Rising Star Awards’ Best Actress and Best Actor winners. Mollie and Gabriel then went on to compete nationally at The Jimmy Awards®. This year, the national competition included a total of 116 nominees representing 58 Regional Awards Programs from across the country. Mollie and Gabriel worked with Broadway professionals and made their Broadway debuts on Nederlander’s Minskoff Stage, where Disney’s The Lion King performs to sold out audiences nightly. Both represented DPAC and Central North Carolina exceptionally and we cannot wait to see their bright futures. More information on NHSMTA™ and The Jimmy Awards® can be found at jimmyawards.com. 

Your Phone is Your Ticket

M

obile entry is a safe, easy, convenient, and contactless way to access and manage your tickets all in one place. Safety is every venue’s #1 priority and mobile entry gives DPAC a better understanding of who guests are prior to every performance. It is critical for venues to know who is in possession of each ticket in order to be able to share important information with them before the doors open and the show begins. With mobile entry, there’s no need for direct contact or physical exchange of your ticket. Mobile entry guarantees a quick and safe ticket scan straight from your phone. Our secure ticket technology reduces the risk of ticket fraud and eliminates the possibilities of theft or counterfeiting. Once you’ve purchased your mobile tickets on Ticketmaster; you can always rest assured you’re getting the seats you paid for. Always be aware, though. Do not purchase tickets from unauthorized online ticket brokers. Don’t be fooled by online websites who mimic DPAC’s name or website or offer tickets they might not even have. Go directly to DPACnc.com. 

G UEST ET I QUET T E

At DPAC, we’re committed to Guest Courtesy. Please remember to be a good neighbor to those seated around you.

After the Performance Yes, the lobby gets busy and the parking lots can be tricky, but please remain at your seats until the houselights come up. As a courtesy to the performers and other audience members, DPAC asks that you do not rush for the exits prematurely at the end of the performance.

Entering and Exiting the Seating Area Please time your exits and re-entry

to the seating area to occur only at intermission or breaks between songs. This is a courtesy to other guests around you who will appreciate you keeping these disruptions to a minimum.

Kids at DPAC Please note that all guests require a ticket, regardless of age. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed at most DPAC performances including Broadway, Concerts and Comedy shows. For some shows, DPAC will make recommendations on the appropriate minimum age based on the content and the length of the event. Parental discretion is always advised and judgment of the appropriateness of the content for each show should be made on an individual basis prior to purchase. Children must be able to sit quietly in their own seat without disturbing other guests. As a further courtesy to our guests, DPAC recommends one parent or chaperone for every one child in attendance. It Can Wait Please save texting until AFTER the show. The light from phones is distracting to others throughout the theater. Please keep them turned off.

It’s Superstar Entertainment, Not a Food Fest Small snacks and drinks are welcome in the seating area, but as a courtesy to those around you, eat and drink as quietly as possible. Please know that odors and noisy wrappers can disturb others. We also ask that you finish sandwiches or other large food items before entering the seating area. Photography / Video Recording Using Mobile Phones

At DPAC, each event that we host determines their own policy on photography and video recording using mobile phones. We enforce these policies at their direction. Please note that GoPro’s, tablets, and cameras of any kind are prohibited at all DPAC events. Photography and video recording using mobile phones is not permitted at all Broadway shows.

Quiet Please Once the show starts, please let the stage be the center of attention. We ask that you turn off all cell phones and limit conversation. If children are attending this performance with you, please exit the theater immediately if they become restless or talkative. 

Or maybe you’ll sit down and write one.

Not all our inspiration comes from law books. In 1911, Jean Metzinger created a painting that became famous for its use of multiple perspectives. In Tea Time, we see a woman’s face, a teacup, and other elements rendered in a way that broke past the single-perspective tradition. In examples like this from outside our field, we admire the way Metzinger found something so rewarding by exploring many perspectives. Our lawyers apply this same perspective to the innovative way we provide counsel to our clients.
