FM is a wholly-owned for-profit subsidiary of Providence Performing Arts Center, incorporated in 1988 in response to a growing need for objective evaluation and management of small- to medium-sized performing arts facilities in geographically diverse locations. One of the first companies of its kind, PFM’s business is focused on what we know and do best – performing arts “product.” Our corporate mission – to bring a wide variety of programming to the broadest audience while maintaining financial responsibility and sensitivity to local constituency needs – has guided PFM to past successes and promises future growth. he Performing Arts Showstoppers at DPAC program is for area high school students who both love smiling and saying hello AND seeing DPAC’s biggest shows. Showstoppers will welcome guests at DPAC’s entry doors all season long. Their genuine and kind greetings provide an upbeat entry experience for DPAC’s guests as they arrive at the very biggest shows on tour. The Showstopper program offers students the following:

J.K. ROWLING (Original Story) is the author of the enduringly popular, era-defining Harry Potter book series, as well as several stand-alone novels and a crime fiction series written under the pen name Robert Galbraith. The seven Harry Potter books were made into eight smash-hit movies, and have now sold over 600 million copies worldwide and been translated into 80 languages. She has also written companion volumes for charity, one of which was the inspiration for the Fantastic Beasts film series, and two books for younger children, The Ickabog and The Christmas Pig.
