When Tracy Wang immigrated to Canada, starting her dōTERRA business was anything but straightforward. Facing unfamiliar surroundings and the isolation of the pandemic, Tracy had no local network or business partners. Despite these challenges, she approached the situation with creativity and determination. Tracy began by addressing her community’s need for wellness. Tracy’s proactive approach and strategic planning have been instrumental in her success. The journey to Presidential Diamond was filled with growth, both in mindset and leadership. When you’re in a growth mindset, you choose to see each challenge as an opportunity to become a better leader who is always learning. I love this quote by ZigZiglar: “If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.” There were lots of lessons along the way, but the biggest and most impactful one was the opportunity we now have to impact lives on the other side of the world because of the financial blessings of dōTERRA.

After visiting Kenya on a dōTERRA Healing Hands trip in March 2023, we knew we wanted to impact more lives in Kenya. We partnered with a program called Wells of Hope to drill a well in one of the most remote villages in the country. There were lots of complications, difficulties, and obstacles during this process. Later that year on November 30 in Kenya, they were drilling for water. In the US, I was racing to close the gaps for Presidential Diamond. With in hours of getting the final order, we received a video from Kenya—they had just hit water. It was in that moment I knew this is my Why. We can hit big goals and achieve new ranks, but it always comes back to impacting lives, changing lives, and blessing others.

For Kara, building her dōTERRA business has been a profound journey. She’s learned that success thrives in teamwork and service. As a leader, Kara initially felt burdened to do it all herself. “My biggest struggle with dōTERRA from the beginning was that I thought I had to do it all myself,” she reflects. Participating in Diamond Club six times by herself without involving her team, she recalls, “I graduated and enrolled a lot of people, but I was so depleted and worn out afterward that it took me months to recover.” Everything changed when Kara embraced the collaborative spirit of dōTERRA. Encouraged by her account manager, she prepared her team before her next Diamond Club. “I prepped early and had one-on-one

conversations with my builders to explain what Diamond Club was and how it could benefit them, not just me,” Kara shares. She also reached out to customers to share her vision, asking for help with hosting classes or connecting her with others seeking natural wellness solutions. This shift to teamwork proved transformative: “The last three times I’ve done Diamond Club it’s been as a team, not me alone. What a difference that makes! We had so much fun. I got to know my team better, and I didn’t feel completely worn out and depleted after the program ended. Instead, I felt the exact opposite! I was energized and motivated to continue teaching classes with my team, and the momentum continued.”

Kara emphasizes that true growth happens when leaders focus on their team’s goals and strengths. “I think anytime you are growing a business with other people, communication is key. You have to know what their goals are and the struggles that impact their business,” she explains. Kara now believes that building a business alone is both challenging and unnecessary. “I encourage everyone to believe in your team, find ways they can get comfortable being part of the team growth, and learn how to grow together.” This collaborative approach has allowed Kara to witness the unique talents of her team members. “I was amazed at how each person on my team had different strengths and

talents. When we pulled our resources together for events, I realized we are stronger together and can benefit the lives of so many more people when we are united.” Kara’s perspective on success also shifted along her journey. Even after reaching significant milestones like Diamond and Founder 2.0, she knew that true fulfillment comes from serving others. “I realized that this dōTERRA opportunity is so much more than hitting a rank. It’s about helping others,” Kara says. By leading with her heart and trusting in her team, Kara has created a thriving dōTERRA business built on shared goals and mutual support. Her journey serves as an inspiring reminder that success is sweeter—and more sustainable—when achieved together.

Find a Community that Completes You When Brittany Miles began her dōTERRA business, she didn’t know what lay ahead, but she had one focus: making it work. “Drive and determination are some of the main keys to success,” Brittany shares. “For me, there is no plan B. Once I decided to do this business, I’ve been determined to make this work.” Despite the challenges, she never wavered in her commitment—driven by a passion for helping others and a deep desire to succeed. For Brittany, success in dōTERRA isn’t just about personal achievements. It’s about the people she works with and the community they build together. “The beauty of this business model is that we get to pick who we work with. I get the privilege of working with my very best friends. They get me and understand my quirks. They are a motivation to help me keep going. We are in this together, and me quitting is not an option because I never want to let them down.” As Brittany began to be successful in her business, she saw the importance of helping her team realize their potential. “I have to help my team realize that they’re worthy of success, breathe into them that they are capable of success, and help them see the end goal as if it were right there in front of them,” she says. By celebrating small wins, she instills confidence in her team, inspiring them to push beyond their own expectations. “Once they get a few small wins, they have the confidence and belief that they can go farther than they first imagined.” Between celebrating wins with her team, her focus on communication, and an open-door policy, Brittany has created a genuine connection to her team. “I try really hard to create a family environment within my team. We can’t wait to be together for company-wide events like convention or even smaller team retreats,” she shares. “As a dōTERRA family, we have each other’s backs and lift each other up. We cry together and laugh together. This community has completed me.” Brittany’s story is a testament to the power of determination and the importance of building a strong, supportive community. By staying focused on her goals while fostering meaningful connections, she’s created a thriving dōTERRA business that’s propelled her to Diamond.

LEAVING A

Legacy of Impact In August 2024, dōTERRA Diamond Rachel Sirota passed away, leaving behind a legacy of impact that will continue to be felt for a long time to come. Before passing away, Rachel completed a dōTERRA Healing Hands Match project for a nonprofit located in New York focused on bringing the community together through education programs and sustainable farming projects. Through her project, children entering first through seventh grades were able to participate in junior farmer camps. Participants joined in handson activities including gardening workshops, science experiments, planting, harvesting, animal care, cooking, foraging, and nature crafts.

At the end of the camp, participants hosted their own farm stand to share with their families and community their experiences during the camp. Throughout the camp, they were able to keep a field journal and fill it with the unique knowledge and recipes they gained. The goal of this experience was to help campers better understand where food comes from and encourage healthy living habits. Through the funds raised, an estimated 70 students were impacted.

ESSENTIAL LEADERSHIP

Following Rachel’s passing, her family chose to continue her legacy of giving by completing a second fundraiser in her honor, with funds going to support additional junior farmer camps. Between the two fundraisers, over $42,000 was raised and donated, leaving a lasting impact on the local community and many of the families in the area. Rachel was a passionate dōTERRA Wellness Advocate for 11 years. She will be remembered for the beauty and light she brought to her family, friends, team members, and community. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, including her dōTERRA family.
