WORK EXPERIENCE

A HOME FOR ARTS Museum
“A home for the arts” provides a personal space by abstracting ideas from residential design to create a sense of warmth and familiarity to the exhibition spaces where the visitors can feels welcomed and at home

MOVEMENT OF THE SCREENS
The gesture of breaking boundaries is echoed in the arrangement of the screens. As the visitor enters the Museum, the screens welcome you into the space and create a sense of anticipation. The screens also represent one of the ideas of art itself, in that it is permeable and approached in a different way on every occasion, it can have different entry points.

TAKING DOWN PHYSICAL BARRIERS
The space was designed to integrate the functions of the museum with the viewer’s daily routine. The experience of art viewing becomes an extension of everyday life, and consequently the experience is deeper. The museum spaces can offer a different context to the art work, which can create different reactions and enrich the viewers experience.

The experience of travelling is a space in time between what has ended and what is about to begin; an interruption of your routine. It can be called a discontinuous moment.
To live this experience you need to get a distance, find a safe place where you can find relief
The cocoon hotel will envelop guests and locals in a comforting way, providing support, refreshment and a pleasant change

Art Installation
By utilizing ribbons I was able to redifine a space over a wind rose diagram. The wind is filtered by the ribbons showing its direction and intensity. It also conveys several emotions, when it is calm it could represent refresh thoughts; and when it is more intense it will represent more agitate emotions. As a result I was able to obtained an art work that is able to give information.
On the other hand, this octagon can be another example of similarities between science and mysticism. It has a center called consciousness, that is empty just like the center of the wind or hurricane, where there is no damage.

THE CARDBOARD UPHOLSTERY
This chair is committed to the environment by reusing post e-consumer amazon’s boxes for filling and cushioning. Furthermore, only the shell of the chair will be shipped making it economical and lightweight for transportation.
Through the weaving of the cardboard I was able to leverage it’s
Flexibility / durability and simultaneously reached the desired look of leather.
As a result, the chair is significantly cheaper than one built with leather.
