Made in the Netherlands It all started in 1952. That was the year Anton Beumer’s company sold its first metal wheelchairs. In the years that followed, he filed several patents. And we continue his legacy of innovation to this day. Using knowledge acquired from 70 years of experience, Life & Mobility now manufactures a complete range of mobility products.  When cornering, your speed is automatically restricted to a safe level so you remain in full control.  You can operate the indicators without taking your hands off the tiller. They cancel automatically after every corner.  In the event of an emergency, you can bring the mobility scooter to an immediate halt with the emergency stop button.  The back wheels are suspended independently of each other. Together with the unique wheel size, this creates greater stability when obstacles are encountered.

 The seat, controls, tiller and handling can be fully adjusted to your preferences and needs.  The patented INDEGO+ suspension (can be set to active, comfortable or extra smooth depending on your preference) and special seat suspension give you your desired driving experience.  To minimise hand strain, you can activate the cruise control on the straights.  Ergonomic design allows generous leg and foot room.

Vivo

Small in size, big in fun Elegant, comfortable and safe; that is the Vivo. This compact travel mobility scooter can be dismantled without tools so you can take it anywhere with you. Its very tight turning circle makes the Vivo easy to manoeuvre, while its wide pneumatic tyres give it an extremely high degree of stability.

We work with our product developers to come up with our Safe Driving Solutions (SDS). This is a package that comprises a range of safety features, such as increased stability and better visibility. Most of our models have four wheels, which ensure not only a comfortable ride but also excellent stability.

They were involved in the development of our Ergonomic Driving Solutions (EDS). A package of ergonomic solutions that ensure our mobility scooters can be fully adapted to your body. INDEGO suspension system The human body was not made to withstand lateral forces. Our spine is able to move forwards and backwards; however, when it comes to lateral movements, we are a lot less flexible, so any jolting feels uncomfortable. To minimise the sideways forces on the body, our Solo, Presto and Presto S models feature the unique patented INDEGO suspension system. The Vivo has its own version whereby this suspension system is integrated at the front wheels.

The rubber-based INDEGO suspension system smoothly irons out any bumps in the road. This has an immediate cushioning effect, irrespective of the load exerted by the user. After all, with rubber there is no initial force to be overcome, which would be the case with spring suspension. This results in outstanding comfort, so you can focus all your attention on the traffic.
