WELCOME TO TERM 3 GSV! Welcome to This Week’s Edition of Around the Grounds! The Term 3 season is flying by and we begin to look towards finals! Next week will see only the Seniors compete in their weekly matches on Monday and Tuesday with all other GSV schools scheduled a week off due to the GSV Track and Field Finals! All the best to the MLC athletes competing! Finals will take place the week of September 7th to 11th so if your team is travelling well be sure to allow a full day off to compete! The exception to this is Water Polo which is a week earlier on Tuesday 1st September. MLC will be hosting the GSV Finals in our new pool, so make sure you come and cheer our A Grade team on!

REMINDERS
IMPORTANT REMINDER As mentioned, due to the GSV Track & Field Carnivals being held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week, there are NO fixtured GSV matches on Wednesday 26th for Inters or Thursday 27th for Juniors. All Senior matches are still ON Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th! All MLC training sessions are also still running so make sure you get to those. The season is quickly starting to wrap up so make the most of every training session and each match.
TERM 4 GSV SIGN UPS - LAST CHANCE!! We need to submit teams to GSV next week so we need you to sign up NOW! Term 4 sports on offer are: Basketball (JSS, MS and SS) Cricket (JSS and Y9-12) Water Polo (JSS) Touch Football (JSS, MS, SS)
A reminder that the SENIOR GSV season in Term 4, is a condensed one to allow it to be completed by the end of October and prior to exam and end of year study commitments. There are matches twice a week on both the Monday and Wednesday for 3 weeks, finals take place on Oct 28th. The JSS and MS seasons go for 6 weeks, beginning in Week 2 and finals scheduled for Week 8, Nov 24th, 25th and 26th
