We believe that uniforms play a meaningful role in supporting this vision. Wearing a uniform helps students approach their school day with intentionality, reinforcing that what happens in the classroom is significant. Uniforms also help reduce social comparison and distractions related to clothing, allowing students to focus on what truly matters. From a practical perspective, uniforms contribute to safety and security by clearly identifying students both on campus and off. In many ways, uniforms are a form of preparation for adulthood, where dress codes and professional attire are common across a wide range of careers—from healthcare and public service to athletics and the legal field. That said, we recognize that unclear expectations around uniforms can lead to confusion and stress. This handbook is designed to eliminate that uncertainty. Inside, you'll find detailed information for each grade level, with guidelines tailored by gender and day of the week. Items marked with an asterisk (*) include additional notes in the Definitions section. Please review the handbook carefully and refer to the correct uniform chart for each of your students. Pay close attention to both the daily basic and dress uniform requirements, as there are subtle—but important— differences based on age.
