Our goal is to ensure a smooth and memorab ASU Mobile ID
Immunizations
You must have your Mobile ID or an acceptable ID prior to move-in. Please upload your photo online. Once your photo is approved, you will receive a confirmation email with directions on how to request your ASU ID. This is required to access residence halls and meal plans.
To avoid delays in receiving your move-in date and time, please log-in to your My ASU account and check your Priority Tasks for immunization holds. If a hold is listed, upload your MMR immunization records or schedule a vaccination appointment through the My Health Portal.
Renters Insurance ASU highly encourages each student to have renters insurance. It is a great way to protect your personal belongings in the event of an unexpected incident like a fire, water leaks or any other incurred damage. There are many options for renters insurance, like bundling with auto insurance. You could even check with your parents’ homeowner’s insurance to determine if they cover your college residence hall.

Move-in Ch Before move-in day ` Visit My ASU for your move-in time, date and check-in location. In order to ensure an efficient move-in, move-in dates and times are assigned to each student Your assistance in adhering to your assigned move-in date and time is critical. ` To avoid delays in receiving your move-in date and time, please log-in to your My ASU account and check your Priority Tasks for immunization holds. Check your hall page for details. ` Pre-order your textbooks for the fall semester during the first week of August with the Campus Bookstore. ` Secure renter’s insurance.

Public transit What’s city life without public transportation? Students may purchase a U-Pass for unlimited rides on all LA Metro services on their ASU Transportation account. Please be sure to contact Jared Barlow in order to pick up your U-Pass sticker. This will be attached to your ASU ID for the remainder of the semester. 12
What to Expect Parking information Limited parking will be available for the Broadway Palace North and South Tower parking garages during move-in. University Housing will provide each move-in student a car placard. This is to be placed on the dashboard of your car and is valid for one vehicle and one entry/ exit from either parking garage only. Standard parking rates will apply to any additional vehicle that enters the parking garage.

Traffic considerations Move-in dates/times are assigned in order to ensure a quality experience and decrease traffic delays and/or wait times. Please check in at your assigned date/time. Additionally, be aware that existing construction projects may result in traffic delays. Please pay attention to all posted traffic and move-in directional signage.

ASU Ride Hom The ASU Ride Home program provides students with Uber rides to and from three ASU locations: • The LA Center Studios • ASU California Center Broadway • ASU California Center Grand *Uber rides do not go to any other location at this time
How to register • Consent Form: Review and complete the ASU Ride Home consent form. This will allow ASU to share your contact information with Uber. Remember that your cell phone number should be tied to your Uber account. • Verification and Confirmation: After the consent form is submitted, ASU will verify your enrollment. Please keep in mind that you may only participate in one ASU Ride Home program each term. • Once your enrollment is verified, you will receive confirmation via your ASU email address. • Uber App: Make sure that you have the Uber app downloaded and installed on your mobile device. Use the same phone number provided in the consent form.
Using the voucher • A green voucher icon will appear next to the fare type in the Uber app. • The selected fare should show at a balance of $0.00 for eligible rides • Uber rides may be either UberX or Uber Green, depending on the fare price.
Ride limits You will have access to two rides per day. You may coordinate with up to three other friends or classmates to travel to and from the LA Center Studio and ASU California Center. Only one student in the group needs to request the ride.
