Keeping students - all students engaged - is vital to the success of the students. Incorporate ESL strategies so that students can learn and master the TEKS.

The video highlights the above ESL strategies being implemented in the science classrooms at David W. Carter High School. Our students continue to prepare for mastery of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. The strategies outlined will help the students achieve this goal. The goal is 90-60-30 (90 percent Approaches, 60 percent Meets, and 30 Percent Masters.
