Just an update Monday 9th February. This week's headlines: Children’s Mental Health Week This week is Children’s Mental Health Week (9th -15th February), led by Place2Be, the children’s mental health charity behind the campaign. The theme this year is This Is My Place, which focuses on belonging, community, and family, and how feeling safe, connected, and accepted supports children’s emotional wellbeing. We wanted to take a moment to focus on this because conversations around children’s mental health have become increasingly important over the last few years. Recent UK data shows a continued rise in the number of children and young people experiencing anxiety, emotional distress, and low mood, with demand for mental health support remaining higher than it was pre-pandemic.
