Event Participation & Logistics
What if I work a different shift and can’t attend?
We want everyone to participate! If you work an alternate shift, you can walk at a different time (talk to your Manager) or participate virtually.
What if my timezone is different? When do I walk?
The walk is scheduled for Eastern Standard Time, but team members in different time zones can adjust the start time to fit their schedules.
How do remote team members participate?
Remote team members can walk in their area, submit a photo, and join a virtual checkin before and after the walk.
What if it rains?
The walk will go ahead unless weather conditions are extreme If necessary, a backup plan will be communicated in advance.
Can I participate if I’m on vacation that day?
Absolutely! You can complete your walk anytime that week and still be part of the event. Just share a photo with your team.
Food & Refreshments
Will there be food after the walk?
Yes. If you are on-site, a quick treat or lunch will be provided for those who choose to participate. Food options will vary depending on your location.

Do we get another t-shirt this year?

No, we are giving out hats instead If you have your t-shirt from last year, please wear it!
How and when will I receive my hat?
If you are on-site, you will be notified by email or in person when your hat is available for pickup If you are remote, and unable to pick up from the office, it will be mailed to you *
When do I need to fill out the form for registration and vote on a charity?
These need to be submitted by April 29, 2026 so that we can have everything delivered in time
Do I only get a hat if I participate in the walk, volunteering or providing a donation?
Correct, you need to participate in 1 of 3 ways to receive a hat.

You can vote on the same form you use for registration, or hand your selection in to HR in person
How and where do I donate?
You can donate directly through this LINK Donations are accepted until 11 AM EST June 10th You can share the link to help collect more funds You can still donate to a charity even if you are unable to participate in the walk.
Where are other locations donating to?
Each location has its own selected charities.
What if my team raises the most funds?
If your team raises over $600 and ultimately raises more funds than
location, you will receive $500 toward a team experience of your choice. *

How do I submit proof of participation?
Questions
You don’t need to submit proof, but we’d love to see a photo of every team member participating!
Where do I send my photo(s)?
You can send any photo to communications@superiorglove com, and closer to the date there will be a QR code shared to an external link that will allow you to easily upload any and all photos.
How will remote participation be recognized?
Remote participants will be included in an opening teams call, an event recap, and photos may be shared internally and externally
Can I post my photos on social media?
Yes! If you would like to share the fun externally, please use #SGW1Walk

Habitat for Humanity
Builds safe, affordable housing for families in the community
One Walk donations would help support local housing projects, and if a specific fundraising goal is reached, a small group of team members could have the opportunity to take part in a hands-on build day. Read more:

Provides compassionate end-of-life care and support for
individuals and families in a home-like setting One Walk donations would help support hospice care and family services, and if a future fundraising goal is reached, there
may be an opportunity for team members to support through
