Hair Policy
As we cultivate an identity rooted in Christ, we emphasize inward character over appearance, remembering 1 Samuel 16:7 - "Man looks on the outward appearanc Lord looks on the heart." In a world that often blurs distinctions, we aim to refl and God-given design through neat and modest grooming and affirm God’s inte design. The school reserves the right to address hairstyles that do not align with guidelines in a spirit of grace and understanding.

• Hairstyles should be simple and modest, avoiding extremes that draw unnecess attention to the individual.

Required Accessories: Socks (white, gray, or navy). Closed-toed shoes must be worn everyday. Boys and girls must wear belts on T/W/Th for bottoms that have belt loops.
Optional Items: Fleece pullovers, cardigans, rain jackets, hair ties, head bands, knee-high socks (white, gray, or navy), and leggings or tights (white, gray, or navy). On Cold Days: Students may wear any approved outer layer indoors, but it must have an LCA logo on it. Any outer layer may be worn outdoors, but must be removed in the classroom unless it has the LCA logo on it.
Backpacks and Lunchboxes: May not contain licensed characters. Solid, pattern, animals, etc. are fine.
Jeans (M/F): Not uniform-specific. Jeans must be free of stains or rips and should be high enough that the student can bend all the way down without back showing. No denim leggings.
Non-Specific: Socks, shoes, leggings, and belts may be purchased anywhere. These things are not uniform-specific.
Not Permitted: Visible tattoos and visible jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, etc.) are not permitted. Necklaces, if worn, must remain entirely under the shirt and not visible. Earrings may be worn in the earlobe only, with no more than two pairs. No other visible body piercings are permitted.
