Uniform Policy 2026-2027
GENERAL POLICY Valor’s Uniform Policy is founded in a desire to cultivate a professional culture that is neat, orderly, and honors God in our attire. This policy is based on the following principles: Gentlemen Hair must be kept in a traditional boys haircut, above collar and neatly groomed. No coloring or unnatural look of hair permitted. No distinctive lines or different lengths of hair No chains, earrings, body piercing jewelry or visible tattoos Watches are the only visible jewelry allowed for boys; they can not make noise, have smart technology, or be cumbersome to wear. If watches becomes a distraction, the teacher has the discretion to request it be removed. Shirts must be tucked in. Ladies Hair must be natural colors and feminine. Hair accessories must be fitting to the style of the uniform, which is modest and conservative. Hair accessories must be solid navy, solid black, or solid white, or the Valor plaid. Primary girls makeup and nails must be natural and modest Nail polish is allowed as long as the colors are classy and fitting to the uniform. Earrings are allowed and must be classy and fitting to the uniform; no body piercing jewelry. Watches can not make noise, have smart technology or be cumbersome to wear. If hair accessories or jewelry become a distraction, the teacher has the discretion to request they be removed.

PRIMARY LADIES Category
Uniform Standards
Tops
White or Navy Polo or Blouse (short or long sleeved) *Must have white long sleeve button down blouse and blue/gold plaid skirt for dress days.
Bottoms
*Blue/Gold plaid skirt/skort (as close to knee-length as possible) OR navy pants (no shorts except under skirts for modesty), OR navy skirt (as close to knee-length as possible) may wear black leggings with their skirt/skort
Footwear
Close-toed black or white shoes and black or white socks For Dress Days: Solid black dress shoes and white knee high socks or tights
Optional
Navy Sweater/ Navy Blazer/ Navy Pullover No Hoodies *Must be from French Toast
*All items (sweaters/pants/skirts/tops) must be purchased through French Toast (unless approved by Head of School).
