As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end— and after 11 heartfelt seasons, “Grantchester” is ready to take its final bow. “Grantchester” will conclude after its upcoming 11th season, marking the end of the long-running British period drama. The final chapter promises to wrap up the story following the introduction of Rishi Nair as vicar Alphy Kotteram in season 9.
Armadillo Man: THE TRIPS OF JIM FRANKLIN (LGBTQ+)

Nostal-jazz (nuh-STAHL-jazz) is a unique Denver-based cover band performing the soundtracks of retro video games, TV theme songs, and blockbuster films from childhood to present day. Since 1951, the Owl Club has used this event to uplift and celebrate young, Black women in the Denver area as they graduate high school. Steeped in tradition but also emphasizing women’s civic and academic achievements, we follow the process behind the longest running debutante cotillion in Colorado.

Denver native Emily Howell Warner took her first airplane flight as a teenager and came away from that experience with a passion to fly and become an airplane pilot. In 1973, 67 years after the “Wright Flyer” made aviation history and 15 years after her first plane flight, Warner also made aviation history by becoming the first woman hired as a pilot by a major U.S. airline, Frontier. Three years later she earned her captain’s wings, the first woman to do so.

Daniel Villarreal has long been a widely known and beloved character on the Chicago music scene, veering between folkloric Latin music and the city’s flourishing jazz and improvised music scene. Originally from Panama, he fuses his pan-Latin style with influences of psychedelic rock, Cumbia, afro-beat, boogaloo, rock, free experimental jazz, hip-hop, and funk to create an original contemporary soundscape.
