WELCOME TO TERM 3 GSV! # Welcome to This Week’s Edition of Around the Grounds! MLC has had an incredible week at GSV! This past week featured the GSV Track & Field Prelims alongside the usual packed schedule of training sessions and scheduled matches. This past week, as we do every week, we held 13 training sessions across 4 days and 5 venues. In terms of matches, we played 31 Badminton games (yes – 31! Of those, 16 were JSS!), along with 6 Indoor Cricket matches and 6 soccer games as well! We are immensely proud of our MLC students for their active participation in GSV Sport!

REMINDERS IMPORTANT ***JSS Thursday 20th August*** MATCHES ARE ON!! Please note that although MLC has a learn from home day next Thursday, GSV is still on and we have matches to play! It is expected that all JSS students that are a part of a team are in attendance for their GSV match. Please be at school by 2.45pm to meet your coaches in the Chapel Car park to be bussed to your matches.
TERM 4 GSV SIGN UPS ARE NOW OPEN! Pre planning has already started for Term 4 GSV! As we need to submit teams to GSV in just a couple of weeks we need you all to sign up as soon as you can! The cut of date is September 1st. Term 4 sports on offer are: Basketball (JSS, MS and SS) Cricket (JSS and Y9-12) Water Polo (JSS) Touch Football - NEW GSV sport this year! (JSS, MS and SS)
A reminder that the SENIOR GSV season is a condensed one to allow it to be completed by the end of October and prior to exam and end of year study commitments. There are matches twice a week on both the Monday and Wednesday for 3 weeks, finals take place on Oct 28th. The JSS and MS seasons go for 6 weeks, beginning in Week 2 and finals scheduled for Week 8, Nov 24th, 25th and 26th
GSV TRACK & FIELD PRELIMS! Amazing performances by our MLC Athletics Team on Tuesday saw MLC crowned Overall Preliminary Champions!!

We now move on to DIV 1 Champs on Thursday August 27th!
