What does the word legacy mean to you? For some it means to make a lasting positive impact on their life by shaping their values, beliefs or actions in a way that continues to influence them long after they are gone. At David W. The 9 Grade Advanced Biology Students completed their first project And the students did a phenomenal job The first project was entilted porkaryoitc and or eukaryotic cell The students challenge was to make a 3-dimensional model of the cell, identify the organelles, and describe the function of each organelle “Not only was the project fun,” said Kai Murray, “but I also learned so much and feel real confident explaining the differences between the prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell ”

Carter High School’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program attended an exciting workforce event at the Curtis Culwell Center Hosted by Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas, the expo brought together employers, educators, and students from across the DFW area for a day of networking and hands-on career exploration September 23, 2025, students from David W Carter High School’s
