DRESS CODE RATIONALE The way we dress is a form of “rhetoric” and communicates a message. We want enough variety within our dress code to allow for practice in this while also clearly communicating our academic environment. Our dress code simplifies student attire, and streamlines variety towards esprit de corp.
DRESS CODE GUIDELINES Hair Color: Natural Hair Colors Only (no unnatural looking dyes) Piercings and Tattoos: Only ear piercings are permitted. All other body piercings must be removed or covered during school hours. All tattoos must be fully covered during school hours. This includes visible tattoos on the arms, neck, hands, and any other exposed areas. Casual Day Uniform: Nice jeans with no holes or rips. For the top, a Jubilee tshirt, blouse, or collared shirt in school colors (solid color, no pattern). Casual days will be announced. Logos for polos are OPTIONAL. Visit Moscow Apparel Company for a selection of available items. Please Note: Boys and young men are required to keep shirts tucked in whenever the shirt is designed to be tucked in. A belt must be worn with any pants or shorts that have belt loops. Girls and young women wearing blouses or shirts designed to be tucked in must also keep them tucked in. If their skirt, pants, or shorts have belt loops, a belt should be worn.
