HOW HAS YOUR STYLE CHANGED OVER THE YEARS? I FEEL LIKE I WENT THROUGH A ROUGH PATCH WITH MY STYLE IN THE BEGINNING IT WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE FROM THE SKIN TIGHT JEANS TO THE BIGGEST PANTS I COULD FIND I’VE STARTED TO MEET IN THE MIDDLE WITH IT I’VE WENT FROM SKATEBOARDING EMO TO FULL ON ROCKSTAR
What Inspires your outfits?
Typically it’s whatever event i have on the day or based on my mood if it’s a casual day then I won’t go to flashy if it’s more of a standout type of day then I’ll build my outfit to fit in with the event but standout from others

THE NEXT STEP What does “Vampire Hour” mean to you? I’ve been very obsessed with vampire lore and culture since I was younger it feels good to finally be able to incorporate that into my brand

MUSIC AND FASHION How does the music you listen to affect what you wear? I feel once u find yourself in the music it helps u find your style the person that listens to Destroy lonely all day isn’t gonna dress like the person who listens to Tyler the creator all day your taste in music and artist definitely accounts for at least 25% of your own style

Whychaseyou interview What message do you want people to feel when they wear your clothes? One message i would say is , this isn’t just another instagram brand , i want the person to feel like they’re apart of a community and it just makes them feel good about themselves.
What’s the hardest lesson you’ve learned as a designer? the hardest lesson i would say is rushing drops because i didn’t build enough hype for it or it just didn’t do how i wanted it to fr.
Where do you see your brand in five years? In 5 years, i expect the brand to be in a better position, a bigger community and a lot of more eyes on WHYCHASEYOU.
Wcy interview Where do you find inspiration when you’re in a creative block? I found inspiration from my real life , so anything im going through or witnessing and just really expressing myself through clothes .
What’s something you think the fashion industry gets wrong right now? I would say the fashion industry gets some things wrong like some brand just start a brand for quick money then quit but in my eyes some people actually start because they love what they do.
What does fashion mean to you beyond clothing? fashion means everything to me because like i said i’ve always been into fashion since i was a kid, i like experimenting with the things i wear such as different sizing, fabrics and feel on the clothes yk because it all started when i was young and now people are loving what i create so thats why it means everything to me.
WHAT’S SOMETHING PEOPLE ALWAYS GET WRONG ABOUT YOU? I SWEAR I’M NOT EMO
What’s a lesson fashion has taught you? Be yourself I used to have problems with my confidence honestly until i stopped caring about any of that you can’t let other people define you everyone’s not gonna understand you and that’s fine as long as you u understand yourself

What’s one trend you’re ready to leave behind? Honestly it should be a limit on how oversized your clothes are I mean to each his own but you shouldn’t be walking on your fucking pants
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE FASHION ERA AND WHY? THE Y2K ERA I FEEL IT’S WHEN PEOPLE STARTED EXPRESSING THEMSELVES MORE THROUGH FASHION IT DEFINITELY HAS CHANGED THE WAY WE DRESS NOW AND IS STILL ACTIVE TODAY

WHAT BRAND CHANGED THE WAY YOU DRESS? ED HARDY IT’S A LOT OF DIFFERENT BRANDS THAT HAVE GAVE ME INSPIRATION FOR THE WAY I DRESS NOW BUT I GOTTA SAY ED DID IT FIRST
What’s your creative process when putting together a fit? I tend to focus more on the color scheme does this color go with that one type of thing but if I already have a scheme in mind then I focus more or less on the actual design of the outfit what story it tells or what kind of vibe does it give off
WHAT INSPIRES YOU OUTSIDE OF FASHION? MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS BESIDES THAT I HAVE A UNSATISFIABLE URGE TO BE GREAT

If you could wear only one color forever, what would it be and why? Black it’s a simple answer I know but I’ll wait for someone to tell me a better option

“Saint Sins” Questions Have you ever sacrificed comfort for style? Yes numerous times sometimes the fit looks amazing but on body feels horrible I don’t think anyone who really likes fashion hasn’t went through this
What’s the boldest thing you’ve ever worn? I’ve worn a purse chain around my neck as a choker type of vibe it was horrible but hey I had a vision
Describe your style in three words. Erratic,Dark,unpredictable
What’s one thing you hope people feel after seeing your work? I hope they can see the value in the piece I put together I’m making something that I want to truly be bigger than just fashion
“What’s in Your Bag? Camera it’s become essential rather that’s for taking brand photos or just capturing life in the moment, lighter need I say more, a book in my free time a good book has become very valuable and peaceful to me, lotion yall be ashy I’m not gone lie
What keeps you creating when nobody’s watching?
I’m not bothered by the eyes not currently being on me if their not looking right now perfect because once I grab their attention they’re not gonna wanna look away 15
