Children’s Holy Field Trip held at the Cathedral
NEW ULM – Molly Grossmann, left, and Claire Beranek, students at St. Anthony Elementary School in New Ulm, were among the approximately 300 youth who attended the Children’s Holy Field Trip held Oct. 6, 2021, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. The annual event is sponsored by the Diocese of New Ulm Office of Schools and is open to elementary and homeschooled youth. This year, nine of the 13 diocesan Catholic elementary schools gathered for the morning prayer service that included adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, recitation of the Rosary, a homily by diocesan administrator Monsignor Douglas Grams, and Benediction. Also pictured are left, Declan Hoffrogge and Charlie Franta. The students are part of Mrs. Erica DeVries’ fourth grade class.
