This issue of Th!nkSafe focuses on WA’s work health and safety (WHS) laws which came into effect on 31 March 2022. The WorkSafe Commissioner opens the edition outlining what the regulatory approach will be for the first 12 months of the WHS laws. To assist workplaces, codes of practice, animations and information sheets explaining the core concepts of WHS have been developed. In addition, there is a focus on what industry can do to prevent and manage workplace gendered violence, plus key changes to licensing under WHS.
