FROM THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENT Winter is a season made for slowing down, gathering with the people who matter most, and creating memories that linger long after the moment has passed. Across our islands, this time of year is filled with family traditions, festive events, and the simple joy of being together in truly beautiful places. It’s also a fitting moment to reflect on the year behind us — and 2025 has been a truly meaningful one for Divi Resorts.
It was a year of progress and growth, shaped by inspired teamwork and a continued focus on enhancing the experiences you cherish most. Throughout the year, we completed extensive upgrades across our portfolio, elevating our resorts while staying true to the relaxed, welcoming spirit that defines Divi. At Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort, this progress is especially visible. From refreshed accommodations and modern interiors to revitalized dining spaces and a refreshed exterior, the resort has entered an exciting new chapter. These enhancements reflect our commitment to comfort, quality, and continuous improvement. You can explore what’s new and improved at Phoenix and all our resorts on pages 4 and 5. Of course, none of this would be possible without the people who bring our resorts to life each day. In this issue, we’re pleased to share a closer look at leadership across the Divi family -- from a day in the life of our General Managers (page 3) to welcoming Cusa Christian in her new role as General Manager at Carina Bay (page 6). Their passion, along with that of our teams, ensures every stay feels personal, seamless, and authentically Caribbean. Creating exceptional culinary experiences is something we care deeply about, and this year we were proud to pour that passion into a series of unforgettable dining events across our resorts. We were honored to welcome renowned local and celebrity chefs into our restaurants. These events were about more than great food; they were immersive, hands-on experiences where guests cooked alongside the chefs, learned new techniques, and connected through culture, flavor, and shared moments. It’s a privilege to host experiences like these, and we invite you to revisit some of the highlights on pages 8 and 9. EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT We’re excited to introduce Cusa Christian, the new General Manager at Carina Bay All-Inclusive Resort! A proud St. Croix native with deep roots in the community, Cusa’s journey into hospitality is a story of passion, perseverance, and heart. After years balancing government work with restaurant leadership — and later joining Divi as a Food & Beverage Supervisor — she quickly rose through the ranks to become General Manager. For Cusa, hospitality is more than a profession — it’s about family, community, and the warm Crucian spirit that makes every guest feel at home. We asked her a few questions so you could get to know her better:
Q: What inspired you to join Carina Bay All-Inclusive Resort? Cusa: When I
moved back home to St. Croix after living in the States, I wanted my kids to grow up with their grandparents and extended family — that closeness you only find here. That same sense of family is what I try to bring into my work. At Carina Bay, guests don’t just visit — they become part of our extended Crucian family.
Q: What do guests love most about Carina Bay? Cusa: Guests always talk about
the tranquility here on the East End — it’s like having your own little island retreat. They love the peaceful setting, but more than anything, they love the staff. Our team truly embodies Crucian hospitality, and that’s what keeps so many guests coming back year after year.
Q: How would you describe your leadership style? Cusa: I lead by example. I’m very hands-on — you’ll see me greeting guests, bringing bread to the table, or pouring wine so my team can focus on connecting with guests. I’m not a micromanager; I believe in building a strong team that can carry out our goals together. When the team works in harmony, guests feel it.
Q: What do you hope guests experience under your leadership?
Cusa: My philosophy is simple: integrity, teamwork, and putting the guest first. I want every guest to feel relaxed, cared for, and welcomed like family. If they leave feeling refreshed, happy, and already thinking about their next visit, then we’ve done our job.
Q: What are your goals for the resort moving forward? Cusa: We want to build on
what we already do best — showing people a good time, helping them recharge, and treating them like family. This year, we’re revamping our menus and bringing exciting new culinary offerings so every visit feels fresh and special. We’re also focused on making sure there’s something for everyone here, from relaxation to entertainment, all while staying true to the heart of Divi’s guest-first values.
Q: Tell us a fun fact about yourself! Cusa: I’m married with four wonderful kids, and the beach is my happy place — it keeps me grounded and focused. I also love to read, travel, and explore new places. Some of my favorite destinations are California, Dubai, and Arizona, especially for their amazing spas. And this September, I’m excited to celebrate my 50th birthday with my children — family always comes first for me.

By Chef Julio Haynes, Divi Little Bay Beach Resort A timeless island favorite, our Classic Burrata Salad highlights creamy fresh burrata paired with ripe tomatoes, peppery arugula, and fragrant basil. Finished with extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic, and sea salt, this light and elegant dish reflects the fresh, sun-kissed flavors of St. Maarten and pureocean’s commitment to simple, beautifully sourced ingredients.

1 ball fresh burrata
1. Prepare the Produce Wash and slice the tomatoes as desired. Rinse and dry the arugula or mixed greens. Gently tear the basil leaves and set everything aside.
2–3 ripe tomatoes (cherry, heirloom, or a mix) 1–2 cups arugula or mixed greens Fresh basil leaves 2–3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil 1–2 tsp balsamic glaze (or balsamic vinegar) Salt (flake salt if possible) Cracked black pepper Optional extras: Toasted pine nuts or pistachios Sliced peaches or strawberries Crusty bread on the side
Cook Time: no cooking required
2. Assemble the Salad Base Arrange the arugula (or mixed greens) on a serving plate or shallow bowl. Layer the tomatoes evenly over the greens. 3. Add the Burrata Place the burrata in the center of the salad. Just before serving, gently tear it open to expose the creamy center. 4. Dress and Season Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic glaze (or balsamic vinegar) over the salad. Season with flake salt, if available, and freshly cracked black pepper to taste. 5. Finish and Serve Top with fresh basil and any optional extras, such as toasted pine nuts, pistachios, or sliced peaches or strawberries, if using. Serve immediately, with crusty bread on the side if desired.
Vegetarian Garden Risotto By Chef Gilbert Flemming, Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort A comforting risotto crafted with Arborio rice, gently simmered in fragrant vegetable broth and folded with seasonal garden vegetables. Thoughtfully prepared as a light yet satisfying, shareable experience, this risotto reflects the fresh, wholesome flavors of Aruba’s pureocean Restaurant.

1 cup Arborio rice
1. Prepare the Risotto Rice In a medium pot, combine the Arborio rice and 2 cups of vegetable stock. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the rice is al dente and the liquid is absorbed. Transfer to a shallow container and cool in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
2 cups vegetable stock (plus ½ cup for finishing) ½ clove garlic, minced 1 oz pumpkin, small diced 1 oz asparagus tips 1 oz zucchini, small diced 1 oz white onion, minced Fresh spinach, to taste Cherry tomatoes, halved 3 oz Parmesan cheese, shredded Olive oil Aged balsamic glaze Microgreens
2. Cook the Vegetables Heat a small amount of olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic, pumpkin, asparagus, zucchini, and white onion. Sauté until the vegetables are tender and lightly glazed. 3. Combine and Finish the Risotto Add the cooled risotto rice to the vegetables. Pour in the remaining ½ cup of vegetable stock and stir continuously until the risotto becomes creamy. 4. Add Greens and Cheese Fold in the fresh spinach and shredded Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the spinach is wilted. Gently stir in the cherry tomatoes. 5. Aruba Our Aruba teams have been putting in tons of community effort this quarter, just like all others. The past few months, they have been coming together to gather and donate five full pallets of food, clothing and essential supplies for families in Jamaica affected by the recent hurricane. The donations were delivered through Red Cross Aruba and the Jamaican Consulate, ensuring they reach the families who need them most during this difficult time.
Aruba For the month of October, our Divi Aruba Phoenix team got decked out in pink to help show support of those affected by and spread awareness of breast cancer. We sold pink merch and all proceeds went towards an organization that supports breast cancer patients and research.
Aruba This past November, our Aruba resort teams showed up and showed out to celebrate International Men’s Day. The men who dedicate their time to work hard behind the scenes, at the front desk, in our restaurants, and everywhere in between were honored and celebrated for all the ways they make the Divi family a success!
St Maarten This team building event was one for a purpose! This October, the Divi Little Bay team on St. Maarten came together, donned their pink hats, and did a walk to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer.
