It is with great pleasure that Ditcham Park School will once again be hosting our fantastic Sports Festival from Monday 6 July to Wednesday 8 July. The festival will provide pupils with the opportunity to take part in a wide range of exciting activities designed to inspire their imaginations, encourage participation, and build confidence. Through these experiences, pupils will develop key Junior School values, including courage, resilience, and a strong sense of community, while enjoying an engaging and memorable three days of activities.
OUT OF BOUNDS
The whole Junior School will take a trip to the Multi-activity centre, Out of Bounds, one of Sussex’s top activity centres.
Children will have the opportunity to explore the adventure nets, clip in and go climbing, take on the adventure golf, and aim for a strike whilst bowling. They will depart school at 9.00 am and return at approximately 3.30pm in time for a normal collection.

dsupport to organisations and parents enabling them to work effectively together for the best outcomes of the children. Adventure walk
The children will embark on an exciting adventure walk through the stunning countryside surrounding the school, exploring hidden trails, tackling new challenges, and discovering the beauty of the local area. Routes will be carefully designed for each age group, with distances and levels of challenge increasing to provide a rewarding sense of achievement. Along the way, children will build resilience, develop teamwork skills, and enjoy a true outdoor adventure filled with fun, exploration, and memorable experiences.
Evening Circus Performance
Prepare to be amazed by two unforgettable performances from Circus Pazaz, taking place at 16:00 and 18:00. Packed with incredible circus skills, dazzling tricks, laughter, and excitement, these spectacular shows are guaranteed to entertain audiences of all ages and provide the perfect finale to an action-packed day. Basketball Masterclass
We're delighted to welcome Portsmouth Force, a National D3 team, to run a series of masterclasses. During the day, children will have the opportunity to develop their skills, learn from experienced coaches, and enjoy a fun, engaging introduction to the game.
Colour Calamity
Get ready for a colourful and memorable experience! Children will take part in a fun-filled activity where energy, teamwork, and plenty of laughter are guaranteed. As children are likely to get covered in coloured powder paint, they should bring a full set of spare clothes including shoes and a plastic bag for any messy items. A white T-shirt and galsses will be provided for every child to wear during the event, creating a fantastic keepsake of this vibrant and exciting activity.
Circus Workshop
Following the spectacular Circus Pazaz performances, pupils will have the opportunity to take part in a range of exciting, hands-on circus workshops. Guided by experienced circus instructors, children will learn and develop a variety of skills, including juggling, plate spinning, diabolo, flower sticks, and much more. These fun, interactive sessions are designed to build confidence, coordination, and perseverance while inspiring pupils to try something new in an engaging and supportive environment.
Outdoor Games and Team Building
Junior pupils will take part in a variety of exciting challenges and team games led by Ditcham staff. These engaging activities are designed to encourage collaboration, creative thinking, and problem-solving, while providing plenty of fun and adventure.
Inflatable Fun
Get ready for a full day of inflatable fun, excitement, and adventure! Children will have the opportunity to run, crawl, climb, and bounce through a variety of inflatable challenges, obstacle courses, and games. There will be plenty of fun, laughter and cheering
