Local Sport To Share In $200 Million Sporting organisations across the Wollondilly electorate can apply for a share in up to $100 million in grants following the opening of the NSW Government’s Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund. The Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund provides more opportunities for people to play sport and be healthy and active by investing in new or upgraded multi-sport facilities with $100 million available in 2021/22 and $100 million available in 2022/23. Member for Wollondilly Nathaniel Smith urged local clubs, associations and councils to take advantage of the opportunity to modernise local facilities. “Sport is a way of life in Wollondilly,” Mr Smith said. “As we come out of lockdown and community sport starts to return, the opening of the Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund provides local clubs, associations and councils with the opportunity to secure funding that will modernise facilities for their participants. “I urge our local sporting organisations to apply for funding and enable more Wollondilly residents to enjoy the benefits of sport and active recreation.” Minister for Sport Natalie Ward said the Fund will focus on inclusive and accessible facilities that meet the needs of females and people with disability. “Breaking down barriers to participation for females and people with disability is a NSW Government priority,” Mrs Ward said. “This fund will enable more people to enjoy the benefits of playing sport, regardless of their age, gender or ability while creating thousands of construction jobs and helping the State economy bounce back from the impacts of COVID-19.” The Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund will offer funding through a competitive grants process which will require a minimum co-contribution from applicants. Grants of $1 million – $5 million are available with applications closing on Friday, 25 February 2022. Seniors in Wollondilly can get help to understand their legal rights around scams, e-safety and more with a free 2022 diary. Member for Wollondilly Nathaniel Smith encouraged seniors to pick up a copy of the Legal Topics for Older People 2022 Diary, which can now be preordered online. “We’re pleased to support seniors in Wollondilly stay in control of their own lives. This fantastic publication produced annually by Legal Aid NSW contains clear information on where to get free legal advice on issues like elder abuse and discrimination,” Mr Smith said. “The diary also includes important dates like Anzac Day and school holidays.” Attorney General Mark Speakman said seniors across our communities often face unique legal and non-legal challenges, which this diary will help them navigate. “We‘re supporting NSW residents to age with dignity. This includes providing them with critical information about where they can get help with consumer rights, internet banking scams, financial hardship, aged care and housing,” Mr Speakman said. Minister for Seniors Natalie Ward said some older people may be unaware of the legal avenues available to them. “This diary helps break down the barriers which may prevent our seniors from asking for support and to arm them with the tools they need to access services available to them,” Mrs Ward said. Legal Aid NSW’s Acting CEO Monique Hitter said the diary was an important resource for older people and the most popular publication the agency produces. “It’s a great way to start some of those tough but important conversations about wills and planning for the future,” Ms Hitter said. President of the Law Society of NSW, Juliana Warner, said the Law Society is happy once again to support the production of such a critical legal resource for older people. “There are many legal issues impacting older people, including powers of attorney, aged care, housing, consumer rights and of course elder abuse. This diary covers them all,” Ms Warner said.

Wollondilly Council To Host Summerfest Events Across The Shire

Beginning this holiday period, Wollondilly Council will host a series of eight free community events to be held across the Shire over the next 12 months. The Summerfest program has been made possible thanks to funding from the NSW Government Resources for Regions program, which has provided funding opportunities to mining communities throughout the state. Each of the eight family friendly events will feature amusement rides, an outdoor movie screening, food stalls, free face painting, ice cream and donuts and performances by local musicians. The events aim to support mining impacted communities by enabling residents to reconnect, stimulating the local economy and providing a much needed recreational outlet following the impacts of the pandemic restrictions. CEO Ben Taylor has thanked the Department of Regional NSW for providing the funding for the Summerfest program. “Wollondilly residents have had a challenging two years recovering from bushfires, floods, storm events and the impacts of Covid-19,” he said. “This will be a great opportunity for locals to celebrate together in their own towns and villages. It is important to have something positive for our community to look forward to.” Each event will start at 3pm and finish at 10.30pm, with tickets available on Council’s website. The first two events were held at Willis Park, Oakdale on Saturday 15 January 2022 and Bargo Sportsground on Friday 28 January 2022. They will be followed by events at Douglas Park Sportsground in February and at Appin Park in April 2022. Later in the year events are planned for The Oaks, Menangle, Tahmoor and Buxton. r

Born to Paint Mulgoa student Tamika Dean is a talented young artist in demand. In just three short years, people are snapping up her artwork, as she has plans to create a small business. “Personally, I would say that I have been an artist all of my life” Tamika said. With an interest in art since she was a young child, life as an artist came unexpectedly. “I completed my first commissioned artwork back in 2019. I was approached by a family friend asking me to complete a painting for their home. They told me what they were interested in, and I jumped at the opportunity. Once I had completed that first painting, I revealed the final artwork to the gorgeous family whose home it was going into. Their eyes and smiles lit up with so much excitement!” she reflected. “Seeing their reactions to my art made me feel so proud about what I had made and encouraged me to consider that there could possibly be other people out there that would appreciate my art just as much as they did. So, after doing more and more paintings I started to get more and more clients” Tamika continued. Tamika doesn’t have one style of art and it’s varied. She uses different mediums such as watercolour, acrylic and charcoal drawing. Her main medium is painting. “I give my clients the wheel a bit when it comes to designing the painting. I do try to stick with the abstract illusion kind of style. I describe my paintings to tell a story through line, movement and colour” she stated. Her artworks can take 20-90 hours to complete, depending upon the size and style requested. Tamika also makes the canvases from scratch herself. This year, she’ll be studying Visual Arts and Nursing at University. This will also give her the opportunity to experiment with new mediums such as pottery and glass blowing. “I am so happy doing what I do, especially knowing that I am already living my childhood dream of becoming an artist. Dee-Jay Named Most Outstanding Youth in Business Local resident Dee-Jay Logozzo has won the Most Outstanding Youth in Business Award at the 2021 Wollondilly Local Business Awards. The prestigious awards were held in December at Menangle Country Club, after being rescheduled from earlier in the year. Dee-Jay is a part of the team at Liquormaster Warragamba. Liquormaster Warragamba were previous winners at the 2020 Wollondilly Local Business Awards, taking home the Outstanding Specialised Retail Business Award. This was Dee-Jay’s first individual award in business. There were 6-7 finalists in the Most Outstanding Youth in Business Award category. “It was surprising and very humbling to win the award. I was up against some strong and competent competition. My win is a reflection of our team. It really is a team effort” explained Dee-Jay to the Mulgoa Valley Gazette. He was nominated by Liquormaster Warragamba for the awards. Dee-Jay now hopes to build on his win in the future. “Winning this award has given me the confidence to pursue my goals this year and going forward. Thank you to everyone that has supported me” he ended. He is ready to progress to State and/or National Awards, should they take place later this year. A Fresh Start

Do you like that new car smell? It reminds you that everything around you is new and everything works the way it should. No broken switches or lights that don’t work. The air-con pumps out cold air and there is a new set of gadgets to play with. A new year can feel that way as well. It is as though everything has a chance to make a fresh start. Wouldn’t it be great if you waved a magic wand and put the whole pandemic thing behind us? That would certainly feel like a fresh start! Life is full of moments when we can make a fresh start. It might be at work or at school or in the relationships in our families. We might need to be gracious enough to others to let them make a fresh start or have the courage to make a fresh start ourselves. God knows that each one of us needs a fresh start with him. It’s easy to feel that it is impossible to have a fresh start with God. However, he is amazingly kind and loves to give us a fresh start with him. Not a fresh start so we can try harder, but a fresh start to understand his love for us despite the mess we make of life. On a bigger picture, the Bible teaches that God is making all things new. Pastor’s Corner Having just spent some time away visiting friends on the North Coast, it was great to catch up with so many people and to revisit places, from our past. Friendships are interesting. Sometimes irrespective of the years that have since passed, the relationship is till the same. Others, they never return to their former state. Then too, there are some relationships that “shoot new seeds” of growth, and the relationship becomes different but closer. One of the family groups of friends we visited are going through the difficult process of caring for their elderly mother who has dementia. Now each member loves her and wants what is best for her, but not surprisingly they all have slightly different views on the path forward. This has caused tension and angst between brothers and sisters as they work out the solution. Whilst we may have faced those same issues, friendships often face situations that lead to disagreement and sometimes to the complete breakdown of relationships. Our view on what is best in any situation, may lead us away from a peaceful resolution. Proverbs 27:17 says, “An iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” This verse, excuse the pun, cuts to the real heart of friendship, which is to improve and do what is best for the other person. I don’t mean by this to try to make them agree with what you think, but rather encourage and help them to be the best person they can be. My prayer is that you will be a person that you will be a person who sharpens positively your friends.

New Wollondilly Council a Mix of Experience and New Faces After going to the polls on 4 December for the 2021 Local Government Elections, Wollondilly residents can finally congratulate the successful local candidates following confirmation of the new Council by the NSW Electoral Office. The new look Wollondilly Council will be made up of a balanced mix of experienced returning Councillors and fresh new faces, putting Wollondilly in a strong position to deal effectively with the many challenges ahead. The elected Councillors include Hilton Gibbs, Judith Hannan, Blair Briggs, and Beverly Spearpoint from the Shire’s North Ward along with Paul Rogers, Matthew Deeth, Suzy Brandstater and Michael Banasik from the East Ward. They will join the newly elected Mayor, Cr Matt Gould to form the Council. The last election in 2016 resulted in a nine person Council with three Councillors from each ward. A referendum was passed to directly elect the Mayor and reduce the number of wards, so in 2021 Wollondilly moved to the two wards with four Councillors from each and the popularly elected Mayor. Mayor Gould said, “I look forward to working with the newly formed Council, which brings a great mix of experience and new energy to the table. I love my very special hugs, from when it was out there, And now that we can’t have one, it is very hard to bare, A hug is thinking about you, and what you mean to me, It is giving love in a way, that we both can clearly see, A hug gives you lots of warmth, and shows you trust each other, And says I won’t forget you, and you are like a sister or brother, A hug makes you smile, and makes your spirits soar, A memory of that special hug, will carry you through much more, A hug has the benefit, of both giving and receiving, The closeness is uplifting, at least that’s what I’m perceiving, A hug says I will see you soon, you made my day today, And I hope this warm fuzzy feeling, will never go away, So don’t ever underestimate the power of a hug, It feels so good in many ways, and warms you like a rug, So now we have the “Covid Days”, and hugs are off the list, And I so much miss the contact, and the feeling of so much bliss, I am counting down the days, until this gesture will return, To once again start giving and receiving, the hugs for which we yearn, When we think of each other without a hug, it is much to our dismay, This very small gesture, will surely brighten up our day, Until we can hug again, when our state is “Virus free”, And our lives return to normal, just you wait and see, So don’t take a hug for granted, it is so lovely to be had, And a privilege to receive one, now doesn’t that make you glad, Approach it with so much gusto, just like it was before, As just even thinking about it, will open up the door, To love one another, seems to me to be so smart, So open up your arms, and open up your heart, So please accept this paper hug, especially from me to you, And remember that you are missed so much, today and all days through. r

A Walk Like No Other

Silverdale’s Matthew Reid is set for the Walk for Terry Fox next month, a walk that will see him start at Glenmore Park and finish in Canberra, all whilst raising much needed funds for charity. Setting out from Glenmore Park High School on Monday 28th March, the walk will take 10 days to complete, finishing at the High Commission of Canada in Canberra and covering just under 300 kms. Matthew will be raising money for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. With a goal to raise $40,000, he has already raised an amazing $22,500 for the charity. The charity walk was originally planned for September last year and has had to be rescheduled due to the pandemic. “I will be taking part in the walk to raise awareness about the amazing legacy and achievements of Terry Fox, whilst raising valuable funds for The Children’s Hospital at Westmead” explained Matthew to the Mulgoa Valley Gazette. Terry Fox was a young Canadian who, despite having an artificial leg, participated in the Marathon of Hope, a cross-Canada run to raise money for cancer research and awareness. Terry would run for 143 days over a distance of 5,373 kms before stopping due to primary cancer spreading into his lungs. Today, the Terry Fox Foundation has raised over $800 million to support cancer research and the Terry Fox Run now takes place in over 40 countries around the world. Last year saw Matthew organise Terry Fox Walks at two local schools, Glenmore Park High School and Mulgoa Public School. “I have plans to get more local schools involved with the walk this year” he said. A BBQ fundraiser held at Silverdale just before Christmas raised $1,750, thanks to the BBQ and the kind donations from the local community. An 80’s music themed disco this month to be held locally is due to be announced shortly. Matthew is training hard and is ready for the challenging walk. “I’m currently boxing, rowing, and cycling 3-4 times a week. On top of this, I’m also doing a lot of walking. Thank you to everyone that has supported me so far on this journey” Matthew shared. Come and Join Mulgoa Valley Football Club Registrations for the 2022 season are now open for Mulgoa Valley Football Club, and the local club is looking to have their biggest year yet. The 2021 season saw about 100 players take the field for the Mulgoabased soccer club. This was made up of one All Age Men’s Team and 6 Junior Teams, ranging from the Under 5’s to Under 11’s. “Last year, we had a lot of young kids playing soccer for the first time. Seeing them learning the skills and having so much fun always puts a smile on your face. Our Men’s Team were also at the top of the table when the season was cut short” said Andrew Mackie, President of Mulgoa Valley Football Club. With a full season in sight for 2022, the club are positive about the new year ahead and are looking forward to a big year. “This year, we have new lighting for the whole field. This will improve training and open the opportunity to play night games, if required. With the support of some fantastic sponsors, we offer low fees and continue to improve the facilities at the club, all so we can provide our members the best experience possible” Andrew explained to the Mulgoa Valley Gazette. Mulgoa Valley Football Club welcomes all new players to the club, whether they have played soccer for a previous club or not played at all before. “MVFC is a real family friendly club, where the fun of playing soccer is the key focus. Our home ground at Gow Park in Mulgoa is lovely and quiet with easy parking, and yet it’s easily accessible to the whole district” he ended. Well, once again COVID-19 is creating lots of drama around town, with many of our residents catching COVID. Also, we are seeing events cancelled like the Country Markets and, at the time of going to print, there was uncertainty about the Luddenham Show planned for the 5th and 6th of March, with the committee concerned what affect the pandemic will have on the Show. It is now official, the Old Northern Road between Elizabeth Drive and the intersection of the new and Old Northern Road (near Shell) has been renamed to Willmington Road from the 1st of February. During October 2020, the RMS called for suggestions for a new name for this bypassed section of the road thru Luddenham. We were all expecting that on the 17th of December last year, Luddenham’s future would have been confirmed, and we could all plan for the future. Unfortunately, NSW Planning could not release the final Aerotropolis Plan as promised due to Western Sydney Airport Co submitting an objection to the proposed Luddenham plan. A lot of work and consultation had gone into the plan (Scenario 4 was the chosen outcome). It was recommended by residents, Penrith and Liverpool Councils and the State Planning Authority. Luddenham Progress Association are seeking an urgent meeting with Federal Minister Fletcher and will not rest until this objection is withdrawn. I am sure that common sense will prevail, and Western Sydney Airport Co will withdraw their objection. A big thanks to our Local State Member of Parliament Tanya Davies for securing some New South Wales Government Community Building Partnership Grants for Luddenham Showground. Tanya visited the Showground and handed over a cheque to President Wayne Willmington. 13th Annual Back to Warragamba Reunion Day All past and present residents, families and friends are cordially invited to join us for this big day. Parents Cannot Afford to “Switch Off” When it Comes to Kids and Technology Much of our digital world has not been built with the safety of children in mind, and recent media coverage has highlighted the risks. Given the scale of the problem, caregivers understandably feel overwhelmed. When we face tremendous challenges, a common human response is to ignore, deny or delay responding. What this sometimes looks like in families is leaving children to their own devices (quite literally!) Navigating the internet is like driving a car. It’s not only about whether a child or young person can operate the technology (growing up in the digital age, children and young people often adapt faster to new technology than adults do!). It’s about whether they have the cognitive, social, and emotional maturity to appropriately handle challenges in the online space. Top tips for preparing children to use the internet: Children need supervision, guidance, and support to be good digital citizens. From the beginning, explain that owning or operating devices is a privilege, not a right. Clearly articulate the limits, and let your child know that continued use of a device depends on their capacity to use it safely and appropriately. You will be most effective if you can understand and join your child’s digital world. Learn about their favourite places or activities, who they connect with online and how they understand the internet. Find ways you can connect over online activities, such as playing a game together. Communicate regularly about online safety. If you make an executive decision (i.e., removal of a device or app), explain your reasons. Where appropriate (and especially with young people), consider inviting your child into the problem solving – explain your concern and then ask, “what can we do about this?” Be a good digital role model. Children learn far more from what they see us do than what they hear us say! Consider your own online behaviour. Does this behaviour reflect the values you want to impart on your children? Thousands of children across the country will walk through the school gates for the first time this month, beginning their education journey. Joining them will be 4-year-old Logan Axisa who will be starting Kindergarten at Warragamba Public School and 5-year-old Paige Hollier who will be at Mulgoa Public School. Logan will join his older brother Brayden, who is in Year 3 at Warragamba. His younger brother Mason is yet to start school. Paige too will join her older sister Mia, at Mulgoa. Logan is already looking forward to starting school and can’t wait. “He is very much looking forward to being at ‘big’ school with his brother and catching the bus back to after school care” said Teigan Axisa, Logan’s Mum. Despite not having started Kindergarten yet, Paige has already set her sights on a career with animals when she finishes school. “Paige loves animals. When she finishes school, she would like to be a Zookeeper” explained Alicia Hollier, Paige’s Mum. For many parents and carers, that first day of school is filled with mixed emotions as they wave goodbye to their children. “I will be emotional, but also very proud of Logan” said Teigan. “As a parent, I will be a little lost to begin with due to Paige being my youngest. For the last few years, we have spent most days together whilst her older sister has been at school. Paige is super excited to go to school and I love seeing the excitement on her face” Alicia answered. Best of luck to all those students who are beginning and returning to school in the local community this year.

Adventure Awaits The pandemic has meant that we have been unable to travel. Trips that we once took overseas, or interstate have been replaced with adventures closer to home. Local Mum Melissa Bedwell saw this as the perfect opportunity to create Clue Tours NSW. Clue Tours use nature, infrastructure, history, and community to create cryptic clues for you to access and solve with your mobile phone. It is a fun self-guided trail where you solve the clues on a scavenger hunt through the outdoors. You receive the clues on your mobile and answer them as you follow and walk on your trail - discovering more of the people, land, and history with every clue. They can be done by yourself or in a group; it’s a fun activity for families, partners, groups of friends and team building experiences. “I have always been passionate about adventure, exploring, history and having fun! With overseas travel closed for the past two years, I re-discovered adventure and history at home in our local area and beyond. Creating a cryptic clue tour was a way to incorporate fun, a sense of adventure, and looking at our local area from a completely different viewpoint” explained Melissa. “There is so much beauty in our landscape, amazing history and community vibe that surrounds us in Western Sydney, and I wanted to share that with a fun twist that suits both locals and tourists” she continued. Clue Tours NSW was officially launched in November 2021. The Glenmore Park tour was the first, with a Penrith tour to be launched soon. In 2022, they plan to expand tours in the Blue Mountains and Emu Plains, Hawkesbury as well as additional Penrith and Glenmore Park tours. “We’re also developing a unique clue tour that can be completed online or by car for those who can’t get out walking, but still want to experience the sense of adventure, fun and challenge that Clue Tours NSW provides. Beyond 2022, we plan to expand the Clue Tours to regional towns across NSW” Melissa stated. Claire & Co Studios Comes to Luddenham After 24 years at Prestons, highly acclaimed music tuition business Claire & Co Studios will be opening their second studio, opening in Luddenham this month. Claire & Co Studios was founded by Claire Abrakmanov in 1998. Claire has been a Vocal Coach for 26 years and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience to the local community. The brand new purpose-built studio at Luddenham will initially offer locals vocal tuition, consisting of one-on-one vocal training. The services will increase, depending upon demand from students. It will also operate on a school term basis. Claire has enjoyed a successful career as both a vocalist and a teacher and has worked alongside some of Australia’s biggest performers in the music industry. “As a Vocal Coach, I enjoy watching the success of my

Can my Genes be so Bad that Migraine is Unavoidable? A small number of people suffer from a rare/severe subtype of migraine with aura (MA) called hemiplegic migraine (HM), where weakness or temporary numbness, affects one side of the body, accompanying migraine. HM is diagnosed/subdivided into: 1. Sporadic hemiplegic migraine (SHM) – no family history of HM exists 2. Familial hemiplegic migraine (FHM) – 1st or 2nd-degree relative has HM ~0.01% of Europeans suffer HM. SHM (1/3 of HM cases) results from: 1. Pathogenic-variant newly arisen FHM-genes (listed below) 2. Cellular mosaicism (people with mixtures of cells with completely different genetics) 3. Other gene-transmission-mechanisms 4. Environmental factors One of 3 specific FHM gene-mutations is passed-down from parents: 1. CACNA1A (FHM type 1) leads a person’s brain cells to misshandle calcium. 2. ATP1A2 (FHM type 2) leads to altered handling of both sodium, potassium, calcium and possibly acid by brain cells. 3. SCN1A (FHM type 3) leads to altered sodium-handling by brain cells which alters levels neurotransmitter GABA levels. All mutations, increase risk of brain-cell-hyperexcitability, cortical spreading depression (CSD) and migraine. No other

major HM-causing genes have been found and >75% of genetically tested HM sufferers, have no detectable gene mutation. HM genetic sub-types are indistinguishable although symptom-picture varies widely, even among people with the same genetic mutation. FHM has: 1. an autosomal dominant inheritance pattern (just one copy of mutated gene can cause disease). 2. a high penetrance – i.e., 70-90% of people with the mutated gene will get migraines. Nevertheless, penetrance isn’t 100% and twin studies clearly show even identical-twins can have completely different symptom-profiles. Recently, a study concluded that the ‘wide array of symptoms, severity, age of onset and frequency’ suggests that HM-patients getting severe headaches, do so from an unlikely combination of both genetic and endogenous or environmental factors. Swedish researchers similarly concluded that HM may not be caused by single-gene-mutations; but is likely an extremeversion of migraine with aura, sitting at the severe-end of the HM disease-severity- spectrum. They argued that a combination of environmental factors working together with rare and/ or multiple-common-gene-variants, conspire to produce HM migraines which suggests that even very rare and severe migraine types, have controllable environmental factors, that may significantly lower migraine risk.

He completed his Bachelor's Degree in Animal, Poultry and Veterinary Sciences with a concentration in Animal Nutrition, at Tuskegee University in Alabama, USA in 2009. Cesar is currently pursuing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at the University of Sydney. He has worked as a veterinary technician for over 20 years in the USA, working in a variety of different practices. Cesar has extensive experience with a wide variety of animals, ranging from dogs, cats, horses, pocket pets, large animals, reptiles, birds, and fish. When not busy working or attending classes, Cesar enjoys scuba diving, aquaculture, reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. Cesar completed 2 weeks of University placement at Orchard Hills Veterinary Hospital, and we were so impressed, we offered him a job. Cesar began casual employment in February 2021. Ethan Ethan is a Penrith local who joined our team in December 2021. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney. At home, Ethan has 5 cats and 1 dog. In his free time, he enjoys bouldering, reading, and walking his dog, Harley. Sarah Sarah graduated with her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in January 2021. She joined the team at Orchard Hills in November 2021. Sarah has grown up with animals and feels like there’s a hole in her heart when she’s not around them. She currently has four cats - Calvin, Marshmallow, Sundae and Tucci, and a Staffie named Phoebe in tow. “I love being able to work with animals and help them in any capacity I can. I am continually learning and love being able to expand my knowledge of animals and veterinary nursing”. Melitta Melitta joined our team in October 2021 in the grooming department. Melitta has previously worked on a breeding thoroughbred stud managing vet visits and owns her own country clothing business (Country N Co). Melitta has 2 horses, Sensation (3yr old stock horse), Krakajac (25yr old thoroughbred) and 2 dogs, Dixie (14wk old Kelpie) and Penny (3yr old Labrador). Melitta has a loving passion for all animals every shape and size. In her spare time, she is out competing her horses in team sorting, camp drafting, local shows, and beach riding! Melitta loves coming to work as part of such an amazing team! Xinlin Xinlin grew up in Harbin, Heilongjiang China and he is

currently studying the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at the University of Sydney. Xinlin has no pets currently, as he left his geckos in China with his friends to look after. Xinlin completed 2 weeks of University placement at Orchard Hills Veterinary Hospital, and we were so impressed, we offered him a job. Xinlin began casual employment in January 2022. Our health care workers are working hard to look after us and we cannot praise them enough.
