Rodeo Recognizes Dedicated Committee Members: Austins and Sabots

Recently the Richer Rodeo Committee was honoured to award volunteers Kevin and Brenda Austin with a custom buckle to recognize their decade plus of commitment to making sure the front gate runs as smooth as possible, leading their great team of volunteers and working with the committee to improve the weekend event every year. Additionally, on the Sunday just after the rodeo finished, both Eugene and Louise Sabot were also recongnized with a custom buckle for their dedication and commitment to the rodeo.

Around since the beginning of the Richer Rodeo, Eugene and Louise Sabot were presented with a custom buckle from their rodeo committee peers.

RICHER REC HOCKEY IS BACK! Season 2 Registration Open!

After a great first season, the Richer Recreation Committee is excited to announce that Richer Rec Hockey is back for another season! Last year we introduced a new recreational hockey program to our community, giving kids an opportunity to get on the ice, play hockey, make new friends and, most importantly, have fun! The response was fantastic, and we’re looking forward to making Season 2 another great one! Fees starts as low as $60 per child for children in the RM of Ste. Anne (including Richer), the Town of Ste. Anne, Richer East, Ste Genevieve and Ross! We will accept registrations from other communities if space allows. WHO CAN PLAY? Richer Rec Hockey is open to youth ages 4–15. Whether your child has played hockey for years or is simply looking for a fun way to get on the ice, this program is designed to be fun, relaxed and recreational. There are no tryouts and no pressure to compete. It’s about giving kids a chance to enjoy the game, get some ice time and play alongside other kids from our community. ABOUT THE SEASON - Every Saturday morning for approximately 15 weeks - Ages 4–15 - Recreational, fun-focused hockey - Organized by the Richer Recreation Committee We’re excited to welcome back our players from last season and, of course, we’d love to see some new faces join us! REGISTRATION & QUESTIONS For registration information or any questions about the program, please contact darsondueck@gmail.com. More information about registration, ice times, fees and the schedule will be shared closer to start date.
