Community Christmas in the Park Countdown!
The Richer Recreation Committee (RRC) is hosting the annual Community Christmas in the Park on Friday, December 16 starting at 5 pm. Sleigh rides, ice skating, giant bonfire, music and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus who will be escorted in by the Richer Fire Department! Also, volunteers will be BBQing hotdogs and heating up some hot chocolate and coffee. Courtesy of the RRC our elves will be assisting Santa in handing out treats for the kids (while quantities last). Bring out the family (don’t forget some ice skates!) and enjoy this Holiday Season with friends, neighbours and guests from other communities. Make sure you shop local as many of our local businesses and services have come through again to help support this amazing community event. Also we could not create events like this and serve our community without the assistance from our local service groups… thanks to the Richer Métis Local, the Richer Fellowship Church, and all out board
Santa will spend a couple of hours in the Richer Dawson Trail Park on December 16.
members and volunteers who come out and commit their time for your enjoyment.
