A fresh addition to the Halifax Waterfront, the Cunard District offers new amenities and public spaces near Bishop’s Landing. This vibrant area is already home to five brand-new restaurants—Tribute, Matadora, Crème, ASIA, and Water Polo—and is set to expand even further, with more eateries on the way. As Halifax’s food scene continues to thrive, the Cunard District will surely be a must-visit destination for food lovers.

Muir is the newest member of Marriott’s Luxury Collection joining a prestigious portfolio of iconic hotels celebrated for their distinct character, and strong sense of place. Through original artwork, regionally inspired design, and curated cultural experiences, Muir continues to set the standard for luxury that is deeply personal, and distinctly Nova Scotian.

Sail Grand-Prix (SailGP) – known as the most exciting racing on water - will return to Halifax in June 2026. SailGP’s Canadian debut in Halifax last season was a sellout success. The event was named fans’ ‘favorite racetrack’ and saw more than 50,000 spectators cheer on their home team from the Halifax shoreline.
